2013 Now Larimar Brides !!! Any out there ???

Recommended Posts

Welcome Crystal!  And congrats!
I have chosen the Your Moments "free" package as my fiance and I are having a reception when we return back home for all of our friends and family who are unable to attend our actual wedding.  We only have 10 guests coming, and therefore, that package was more than enough for us.  This forum is excellent in answering any questions you might have.  Just search for it, and most likely, someone has the answer!

Thank you! I just put my deposit down today so my wedding date is booked! Now to try and narrow down must haves so I can stay under budget! I candecide what package to go with. Do yall know if we get the upgraded package do we get like a credit for the cost of the free wedding? Does anyone know of a way to get a sound system or dj cheaper for 3 hours? How much is it for an outside vendor? Any suggestions of a dj? Was anyone able to get anything else cheaper like flower at an outside florist?

No there is no credit for the free wedding if you upgrade.

Outside vendor fee is 150 a person ( so if you get outside Dj and there is two guys.. thats 300 dollars)

If you want to PM me your email i can send you the info and cost sheets I have and put together myself to help me decide

Actually I have been told it is just $150 per vendor, not per person. Hopefully that is right!

Hey Jennifer,

It is actually $150 per PERSON.  I am hiring an outside photographer, and on the wedding planner excel sheet that the wedding coordinator sent me, it shows the cost for "outside vendor" to be $150, and directly below that in bold it says "Prices above per person".

Just wanted to clear that up, so there are no surprises for you!

:)

I did check my spread sheet also and I do see the statement in bold, however, it is below wedding day pass for ceremony and dinner, and states to identify the names in the guest list. I did shoot Luisa an email asking her to clarify and I will post her response as soon as I hear!

I am pretty sure everything is in Spanish unless you do symbolic ceremony with the wedding coordinator. But you may want to send an email to your wedding coordinator to verify.

You are right! I got the email from Luisa and she did confirm it is $150 per person, that is insane! I have to find the other post where the girl told me it was per vendor and warn her. Thanks for the heads up!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
