WOW you're pictures are beautiful! I may PM you a few times to ask you things on this planning journey. If you can please PM me you're email I would love that :)! Francina seems very nice and is on top of things BUT she is PREGNANT!!!! She is due the end of July and my wedding is July 20. So I am a little uneasy that I'm plannning with her and she probably will not be the person with me that day. But I'm sure things will work out. 

 

I wanted to book Castaways for my reception but I refuse to pay the $5,000 fee. That's outrageous!

@EJM17 (Erica) Thank you So much. You are more than welcome to PM anytime and I most certainly can send you my email :-) Your photographers take beautiful pictures also...I have seen their work and absolutely love them too!

Castaways was a battle for us because when we orginally went to the resort for a site visit, it was not a cost to rent it. A month later it changed and it was $5,000; however, with my family being loud, crazy, party animals we truly needed and I wanted to feel like we were out in the open but not in the sand so that was our best option....and my parents paid that portion as a gift so it worked out to our advantage luckily :-) The pool also would have been perfect minus the closing down by 10:30ish you know?

OMG So excited for FRANCINA I didnt know she was preggers! She must have gotten pregnant around our wedding time!!!! Poor thing our wedding was loud crazy people LOL.

I looked into destinationweddings.com as my friend also used them, but with some of my guests not internet savvy, I went with a local agent. Esp for my mom, she doesn't even own a computer, and being a person who does my entire job on phone and computer, I understand and appreciate being able to.talk to someone in person!! Paola, I love all your pics, and I am definitely using your hairstyle as inspiration!!!

I am getting Married May 4th 2013.  My coordinator is Silvia, I emailed my travel agent and she sent the resort an email to which Silvia responded that she was my coordinator and to now email her directly.  I frequently send her emails and she is very helpful and responds within a week.  So I would email them!! It makes it a little less stressful when you can talk to them directly...good luck!

We are getting married on the same day and back in Sept I found out who my WC was and she gave me all the info to make my selections...

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
