UGH! Yeah I guess 6 lbs for one month is good and slow which it should be to keep it off!

I did bad this morning though I went to the grocery store before work and bought lean pockets breakfast...I just ate 2 of them...I was craving something bad for me...it's okay though it was 3 points each so 6 points total...I can still do good the rest of the day! :)
6 lbs in a month is awesome! Congrats!

Also six points for breakfast isn't bad either, just don't eat another one until lunch. :)

I have a tough lunch ahead of me. My department is going to El Torito and I love their chips and salsa...ugh!

I am stressed out since the holiday season is here and parties are starting to get planned. Yikes, I need to take control.

Take control, you can do it!!

Take it from someone who struggled for a year to lose weight before her wedding and just kept yo-yoing, it will be so worth it, I really wish I had lost the weight I wanted to lose before my wedding!

So now I'm back on the WW train, now that I'm done with concentrating on the wedding!

A good low points snack that I like is the laughing cow cheese with melba snacks. You can have 5 melba snacks (the round ones) and one wedge of cheese for 2 points, and they're sooo good!! The crackers are really crunchy and the cheese is almost like cream cheese, its one of my favorite snacks, it makes me feel like I'm eating something bad!

Help! smile41.gif Last week I completely fell of the wagon ... I had just made the 5 lb mark (over 3 weeks)! Somehow with finals quickly approaching, school getting busy with my kids, etc - I just completely gave up - no gym, hamburgers, etc. I couldn't make it to the meeting this morning - so I'm going to give myself this week to try to get back in control! I think in my head because I have until March to lose 10 lbs I'm too easy on myself.

OK - I need to check into this forum much more regularly ... it's always good to hear everyone encouraging one another and empathizing with each other!

I really want to re-gain focus before Thanksgiving and Christmas put me back where I started!

You sound just like me!!! Last week was horrible! I for some reason wanted to eat everything in site and I was doing really good (minus exercise) for a whole month!!! I had lost 6 lbs and I seriously gained 2.5 back in one week! How is it so easy to gain and not to loose!!!! UGH!!! So today I am back on track eating wise again.

I just can't pick up the exercise until after finals in 5 weeks!!! sad.gif

Isn't crazy that it takes twice as long to lose and you can gain it back in a blink! OK - we'll have to come up with a game plan to survive finals and the holidays. I went a bought a ton of grapes, apples, bananas, and carrots to bring to school with me. I also like to pack the Cinnamon Streusal Frosted Mini-Wheats. They are 3 points for 24 pieces (because I don't eat the with milk). They seem to get me through my afternoon class when I'm so tempted to get something from the vending machine. The fiber is good because it keeps me full until dinner! I've also realized how much coffee I've been drinking (instead of water)!

I wanted to ask you which Progresso soup you like - 2 points isn't bad, and that's easy to take to school, too!

Ok ... 5 weeks (my last final is on Dec. 19) - we can do this!

Corey,

It is so hard to eat decent when I am at school!! I go to school every single night except friday because I work m-f during the day. I don't have much time in between classes to eat so bringing soup to school for me is tough...but I have been eating it at work for lunch and it surprisingly fills me for a while! It's the progresso in a can and it's tricky because it looks just like the other cans but in the bottom corner it says ww points 0. Which I thought the whole can was but apparently someone said that it's 2 points if you eat the whole can at once. Which I do!

Yeah carrots and grapes are great for school because they hold w/out refrigeration for a little while and you can make it last a while. I have actually been eating pbj's for dinner at school. I know it isn't the healthiest, but pb is a good fat and barely put jelly and I only eat wheat bread...it is like 5 points for the whole sandwich and that's like a meal.

Thanks Michelle! I admire you for going to school while working full-time! I know it's hard!

I did make it to the gym tonight while my son had Tae Kwon Do class. Now I'm just trying to get back on track with drinking water, etc. I know that I'm definitely a "snacker" - and it gets TOTALLY worse with stress!

Thanks Jill for reminding me about the laughing cow snack - I had forgotten - but I do really like those, too!

OK - I'm promising myself that I'll check this thread daily. :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
