WW for 2008 Brides

I would say start now ... especially with the holidays around the corner. That way you can get into the routine of the program. They say that the average holiday weight gain is around 5 to 7 lbs! When I did WW - I pretty much figured if during that time I stayed the same, I was ahead! I also agree that waiting tends to put on more "pressure" - which for me is never good! Good Luck!

Okay ladies - need advice & ideas - I hear over and over to drink lots of water...what's your strategy?

I keep a bottle at my desk that I drink from all day but it seems like I can never drink more than approx. 32 oz. During the evenings I will only drink 8-16 oz.

I keep a bottle at my desk but I still only manage about half the water I should be drinking. i really don't get all that thristy during the day. It's still more than the zero water I used to have. lol

 

My problem today (and this week) is my period. I have really bad cramps today and eating (and lots of advil) makes it feel better. It is really going to be a challenge to stay away from the snacks today since I work in an office that has a kitchen full of cookies,candy,chips. Arrrgh!

I have the WW jug and it really helps me get my water in. I think it's importatnt to use a straw, helps you drink more faster.

You can also add those zero point drink mixes to the water for some flavor.

I agree about the straw. I tend to drink more when I have my bottle with the straw and I forgot it at home today. Argh.

 

I just tried the Progresso Light soup last night...ZERO points for a serving (1/2 the can) It's 2 points for the whole can but that is dinner for me and I can't complain about a 2 point dinner. It was really good too. Thank god it's almost fall and soup will be sounding tasty.

Wow, ZERO points...that is great! I love soup, I will definitely check it out.

On another note I had a tough time keeping my points this weekend. I work for a non-profit and our huge gala was this Friday and Saturday. Needless to say I ate without tracking. Ugh! Oh well, at least I started fresh today.

I did my first weigh in this morning. I lost 2 pounds my first week on WW. Yay.

I think I need a digital scale though. Mine is hard to read accurately.
