Please help!!! Lots of questions! Beach wedding in Labadee, Haiti through Royal Caribbean

Hi,

   Matt & I are planning a 5 night cruise on the Liberty of the Sea, through RC to set sail March 11, 2013.  We are hoping for a beach wedding ceremony.  the ceremony will only be symbolic to avoid all the legal hoops.  We have started planning our day through the "Royal Romance" department w/RC.  The wedding coordinator in the department is "OK".  I have only had 2 requests. 1.) A beach location at the port of Labadee, Haiti. 2.) Chairs at the ceremony site.  Traditionally RC does vow renewal ceremonies at Dragon's beach lookout but, we are hoping for a beach/shoreside ceremony.  The coordinator will only tell me that she thinks they can find a beach location for the ceremony.  Also, that she will have to contact the site manager in Labadee to ask about the chairs.  BUT....she's not sure where to get the site manager's number or how to contact him so, she will only tell me that the answer right now is NO CHAIRS confused.gif Has anyone held a wedding ceremony in Labadee? How was your experience? Any advice on location or planning is welcome.

 Hi there! I have actually been to Labadee before. I will see if I can find some pics to send to you... unfortunately we went on a cruise and all we did there was go ziplining (SO AWESOME!) and lay on the beach :) I remember tons of beach chairs but not sure about other kinds of chairs. The location is very pretty.

Did you speak with RCL about this location? I have the Royal Romance info printed out for our wedding in 2014 and Labadee is not listed as a port wedding option. When I went to Labadee we walked around a lot versus doing the beach. I havevto say, I don't remember there being a big open spot that would accomodate wedding chairs, etc.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
