How did you pick your colors? Any advice?

Blue is also my first choice, becz you host beach wedding party , Blue is the bast color. No doubt, I will select it in my future wedding party ^_^

Hey Girls... My future sister-in-law is getting married next April at the beach.. She said she always wanted a pink and black wedding, but now that they will be wed at the beach she doesn't think black will look good. I suggested pink and gray or silver. Do yall have any suggestions? (Mine are pink and orange, so those are off limits.. lol)

In my opinion, you can change the wedding colours without the burlap and keep your wedding invites as it. Most people won't notice if the invites don't match the wedding colours. I'd choose what you think will look best in photos-maybe ask your wedding photographer about adding the grey/brown/purple togther?

Dazey,

I agree with Vancouver Bride - your invitations do not have to match your wedding colors.  Mine don't.. and that wasn't an accident. :)  I liked the invitations so much that I didn't care whether they "fit" into my wedding theme or matched my colors.  People aren't going to notice/remember by the time your wedding rolls around that the colors are not the same.  No need to waste the paper; go for it. :)

I like the pink with gray and/or silver.  They complement each other well, especially if it's a bright pink to pop against the sand/ocean, but it doesn't have to be a fuchsia or neon pink or anything.  The gray will be the neutral color and the pink can be the accent.  I really like the idea of all three, personally; I like the bright pink, a darker gray and the silver.  It is a classy color combination, much like the black and pink, without the formality of having the black.. which I do agree doesn't seem very beachy.  Good luck to both of you girls. :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
