New Oceans Varadero El Patriarca

They have the wedding coordinator on staff now. I'm being told that she will start responding to e-mails when the hotel opens Nov. 1st ( but has been posted to open a day earlier on the 31st) She is currently discussing menu options and decor with the hotel chef. I'm hoping shes pulling together some photos displaying the wedding areas (gazebo, gardens and beach). I guess we'll see soon enough. I'm also hoping to get some samples of the resort's photographers work. I've been receiving a good response from the resort, but since i can't actually talk to the wedding coordinator i've been only asking more resort related question; like the cost of a day pass for vendors or night pass, things along that line.

We are in the early stages of planning our DW but keep going back to Cuba as an option and were very excited to hear about a new resort opening up. I was unable to open the PDF posted with package information but I'm very interested in Oceans Varadero. If possible would someone be able to send it to me at: dyment.april@gmail.com

Thanks so much!!

Hi Charlene222,

I have some information regarding the price of the hotel photography. They said packages range 50cuc to 200cuc and wedding video is 150cuc without editing and 200cuc with editing. I am still hoping to get some idea of quality. I've also been looking at the Cuban wedding photographer and videographer, the price is good, plus you get a next day session off the resort at the plantation house with an old car. However, then you have to pay the entrance fee and that will depend on the time of your wedding. You can get a day pass for about 65cuc but they have to leave by 6pm. If your ceremony is later (mine is at 5pm) i would have to pay for a nights stay. So I guess it all depends what you want. As much as I would love to use the Cuban wedding photography and videography I'll probably take the chance on the resorts photographer.

Hope this helps and congratulations.

Hi Ladies,

I am getting married at the Ocean's Patriarca Nov 12, 2013.  I would love to see photos of other brides and hear from you if you are having or had a wedding there this year. The resort is quite new and there isn't much information on weddings at this hotel yet!

Thanks,

Eileen

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
