I found them two weeks ago and now they are getting dyed.  Should pick them up this week.  I am finishing up the flower girls dresses (for my 3 daughters), have to finish up the cake topper.  Then I'll have to do my jewelry although I've got all my beads.  Still trying to find a reasonable deal on hand fans (being in Canada is making this very difficult!) and I'd like to put ribbon on them.  Working on getting my maracas painted in Mexico and then I think thats it!

we are eloping in end of July early Aug. Since we dont have a date we are flexable. we were talking to a photographer that said if there is another wedding in the same area they would give a discount. If anyone is still looking for a photographer please let me know or if you have one you can see if they will offer a deal if we were the same day.

Also looking into TTD at a cenote without the really high price tage

Hello!!

In the last few weeks I made a lot of things that I had to. We bought our vase for the ceremony sand, I did DIY tag luggages and bought the oot bags.

I have prepared the explanation texts for the oot bags, as my women guest I am sure they do not know what is that bag...

My Fi has written the ceremony text. He is Italian so we have decided instead of having music or sth during the ceremony sand, his aunt is going to read it. He wrote the text (in Italian).

I have found my sandals and last Saturday I went to the wedding store where I bought my gown to the second try on of the dress. I am so happy each time I try it on, is so fresh!!

We have decided the flavour of the cake and we have received more presents for the wedding list as well as money.

I have payed a balance of 50% of one of my vendors (the flowershop at Playa del Carmen) and I have find some cheap centerpieces for DIY for the small tables that the resort puts for our appetizers before our private reception dinner.

And my dad has finished to draw the tree guestbook, now I have to buy the ink pads. I love his drawing so I asked him for doing it so I will have it as well as a remember of him.

And I have alredy to make other DIY projects!!! I am leaving in 4 weeks and the wedding is in 5!

Rrpc51`- good for you!  I hope things go well and that you can concentrate on your wedding afterwards!

Carlota - Seems that you're on a roll!!  We share our wedding date!

I'm into the finicky stuff, little details here and there.  Hard to do with young kids but as soon as I get them to bed I go into bridal mode!  haha. These days I'm working on my dance mix.  I've got all the songs I want but I'm trying to get to play smoothly... hahaha feeling like a DJ! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
