Huh... everything?? hahaha no.. this is what is done: choosing venue, booking, sent invites, got answers, some people put deposits, dress bought, restaurant & menu chosen (the wedding coordinator from the hotel sent me the e-mail so it was easy to answer back.. had she not sent it yet, it wouldn't have been done..), colors chosen.

 

These days we are doing decision making: flower girl dresses, FI suit color, centerpieces & decorations overall.  I think I found most of the suppliers I will be using online, I signed up for the newsletters and such to wait for the good deals to come out.

 

we're having a baby sometime in May so I'm hoping to get most stuff done before he/she arrives cuz I doubt I'll have the time/energy to do that stuff afterwards!

Awwww Congrats Katryne!!!! How exciting! I have also sent out invites and so far 19 people are booked, still waiting to hear on more that half of my invites, but I know a lot of people are waiting til after the holidays. I have my dress, my bridesmaids dresses, and our wedding and trip booked. Yesterday I played around with monograms, and my FI is planning on getting the guys together soon to decide on what they are going to wear. I have found pretty much everything I need online, but still am undecided on my shoes, I bought 2 pairs, but need to make a decision soon so i can go have my dress altered. Also still deciding on hair styles, but leaning toward a Carrie Underwood side bun. Now comes the hard part, paying for everything lol

 

2013 will be a very blessed year for you!!

Wow! you're on a roll! Good for you!  Yes 2013 will be quite exciting and insanely busy!  We don't have bridesmaids or GM so one less thing to worry about.

I am booked for the Beach Palace and have everything left to do. I have sent invites and bought a dress. But now I'm thinking of changing my dress! Yikes!

Thanks but that's the dress from my wedding years ago. We are renewing our vows at the beach palace.

Hey August Brides!

My FI and I are hoping to get married in August 2013 as well, but worry about the weather....any concerns for you ladies? For us, the only time this year that could work out for us is in August...so we don't have much of an option.

Also, what location have you chosen? We're thinking either Punta Cana or Riveira Maya....but constantly searching for more ideas lol.

Any words of encouragement? lol

hi NEandLovingIt! What weather concerns are you having? Like hurricane? We decided to have our wedding early in the month to try to avoid any storms, but I did find this article, it might help you! http://puntacanabavaro.com/travel/dont-be-afraid-of-hurricane-season.html

We chose Now Larimar in Punta Cana for our wedding, and I have been to Riviera Maya, to Dreams Tulum. I think you will be extremely happy with either location!!!
