Hi ladies, just wondering if any of you have gotten married , or started to plan your wedding at the Grand Palladium in Montego Bay?  I seen there wedding packages, does anyone know if you can change the colours of the flowers?  or how many guests you can have at the ceremony?  I have emailed the hotel, but no one seems to want to write me back.  Any info on this hotel and there weddings would be fantastic.  Thanks.......

Hello Future Palladium Brides,

I just got back from Lady Hamilton Grand Palladium today and have to say my wedding was everything I could have hoped for and more!  You cannot make changes to the colors of the flowers in the packages (however I did receive and upgrade for my bridal bouquet). The package prices include 8 guests and you pay an additional $20 for each additional guest.  This covers their seating & champagne toast.  YOu can have a private or non-private dinner.  I chose to do a cocktail reception so we could play our own music and have our first dance ($15 per person).  The food was EXCELLENT at the cocktail reception, much better than anything we ate at the resort, including the reception dinner.  Our cocktail reception was held at the Infiniti Bar and was private and was absolutely wonderful!! I had a small wedding (18 guests, aged 4 years old to 68 years old) and ALL my guests loved the cocktail reception.  The dinner was at Bubbas Grill and was o.k.

Any how I could go on and on, if you have any questions let me know.  I will get pics up soon and will post a complete review.  Just know that the communication is slow until it gets closer to your date, but in the end all was taken care of and I have no complaints!!!

My daughter has decided to get married at the grand palladium jamaica in 2014, She has not picked a date yet and is having a hard time deciding, looking more to early in the year but afraid of rain any suggestions?. My husband and I have been to this resort several times but always in april with beautiful weather and love it. We are tossing dates because several cousins r in college and not done until 2nd week in may.  I feel with it being all inclusive , no need to buy everyones dinner when its all payed for anyway. What is your thought on cocktail reception? and wouldnt alcohol be free? If u want music at your reception, cant a person just bring an ipod or what service do they allow? Do they also charge you for a private area for your reception? It is very confusing as per reception. dj, music for ceremony ect.  I just feel these guest are already paying big money to come to a wedding and it is all inclusive. I do understand that they charge $20 per person beyond 8 people and kids r free. What do they do if it rains? Any sugesstions would be greaty appreciated. and thank you!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
