Thanks!!! I am still waiting to see my bouquet, hair flowers and corsages....

My thoughts exactly.  Depending on how easily I can get my family to give them up after, I may consider selling them. The amount the resorts charge is crazy.  I actually got the pictures of the flower options from the resort and I was honestly not impressed.

They look great! Can't wait to see your bouquet as I'm sure you're just as anxious :) I too will be doing real touch flowers as I had the same concerns of cost and the humidity. I'm actually meeting the lady who will be making them tomorrow. So I'm looking forward to see what ideas she has. Thanks for sharing your pics!

Kimberly Zarobsky is the owner and she is AMAZING!  1-pray.gifShe is extremely passionate about her work and has been wonderful throughout the entire process.  She designs all the flowers herself so the attention is very personal.  Our first conversation was over an hour long and I felt as if I made a friend instantly.

I got a cool Mother’s Day gift…..My wonderful “real touch/silk) flower designer Kim (of Sabella Designs) sent me a picture of my bouquet!!!  She also sent pictures of the corsages!

It is amazing to see your vision start to come together.  In a few weeks, I will begin my planning thread!!!  Yippee!!!cheer2.gif

We still have about 2 months to go and she has kept me updated with pictures during the entire process.  I have not seen my bouquet yet but I am afraid to get the email at work because I will cry....I am so happy with them flowers already.

 

She is also doing hair flowers for me, my MOH & my bridesmaid, corsages for my Mom, my FSIL, and my future niece.

 

As I continue to get pictures I will post here and keep you updated with my AMAZING flowers.

Very pretty!!!  I would imagine they're alot lighter than real flowers too.  A large bouquet like that would be quite heavy which is one reason I specifically told our resort I want a SMALL bouquet!  We are only getting 1 bouquet which is included in our resort package or else I would have considered the real touch.  Glad you're liking the results!!

Those photos are gorgeous!! I'm amazed by how real they turned out! The embellishments are lovely as well....the starfish add a real beachy feel!!  For those of you using the silk flowers, what will you do with the flowers included in your resorts wedding package? Are you still using them as decoration or will you use the cost of flowers towards something else? I'm just trying to weight the pros and cons of using the silk flowers. Insight?

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
