Romantic Planet or Flight Center?

Hi,

 

I am in the process of planning my wedding. We know where we want to go just need to get pricing information and a travel agent. I have herd good and bad about Romantic Planet and Flight Center. Is there any advice on selecting one over the other? Is it easier to do it yourself? Or is there another option besides these two? I am in Canada and most of our guests will be from Canada.

 

Any help  would be fantastic!!!!

I'd say go to a bunch and get quotes, don't decide before the quotes! haha! But honestly it's true!

 

Also what is great are the perks that different places give you, such as free rooms or every 6th guests is free or every 21st guest free, etc! Check it all out, some prices per person may be great but their booking process not so fantastic...for us Westjet had great prices but was not a great option due to the fact that they wanted us or one person to manage the group and all deposits being made and such, and I was not willing to be responsible for collecting credit card numbers, money etc! 

 

Romantic Planet didn't even respond to my initial email request for over a week and I wasn't even at the point of asking for quotes yet so I just left them as I knew I wanted a company that was on top of requests and didn't take forever to respond. Then again I have a friend who booked with them and has had no issues.

 


I guess it depends on your size of group and other factors as well, but I would say you should definitely do some shopping around, it can't hurt!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
