Melissa, definitely have your reception outside. You and your guests didn't fly all the way to Mexico to be in a ballroom!!! It's so beautiful outside, so whatnot it's hot, humid and your hair might be a wreck by TE end of the night! The rain should be the only thing to push you indoors!! Have fun!! As for cocktail hours and locations we did the beach ceremony at 4, cocktail next to the main pool where there is a little hut/gazebo an some grassy areas and reception try close the blancterrace outside the blancstage for us. As for food everything wa great pick the menu that appeals to you! DJ we use DJMannia (an outside vendor) thu were good I'm not sure if it was necessary to use an outside vendor though I'm sure the Le blanc vendor would have been fine and we hired Del Sol for our photographers!!! They were amazing. I'm hoping and praying the photographs are as beautiful as I imagine them to be because of the time of day we did not have the ideal lighting (sunset) and we never snuck away during sunset to snap some morenpictures as we totally forgot since we were having Soo much fun!!)

Hi Future Le Blanc brides!

You have found the most wonderful property in all the Cancun/ Riviera Maya area, in my opinion!

As a TA who specializes in the area, I especially love working with Le Blanc weddings.. I work on groups there usually a couple per month and the resort has never gotten anything but rave reviews from the couples who have chosen to be married there. It is really unsurpassed in service, food, amenities, location and just as an all around awesome experience! - Plus the resort credits offered go a long way towards making this a great value for your guests.

If I can be of any service to any of you please dont hesitate to ask.. We are able to assist with group rates and or individual pricing.  I would love to work with you and your guests!

Best regards,

TA Wendy

Thank you so much for your input! You are right about being outside rather than inside for the reception. I appreciate your input!

I am going to have our ceremony on the beach as well!  I have read some reviews under LeBlac 2012 brides and I have heard that the gazebo is super small. I would rather have it on the beach anyway because it is a "beach wedding"!  Right now I am waiting for a new wedding planner because the Miami office no longer has wedding planners there. Everything was transferred to Cancun. I still have some time since my wedding isn't until May 2013 so I am not stressing.

Let me know how your pictures come out! I am thinking of using what the resort has to offer such as Del Sol as well as the DJ there to make it simple for me.

Also, a few brides have been complaining about water issues. They just got back from their honeymoon and weddings at Leblanc and was saying there were buckets of water everywhere and the sheets were damp. I am not trying to read in to it too much. Did you have any issues with that at all though?

Anyway, Congratulations on your wedding and it sounds like it was great!!

Just to add my two cents and play devil's advocate, I am getting married at the Gazebo, saw it in person, and still wanted to get married there.  I wanted a beach wedding, but wasn't a "feet in the sand" type of bride, so the Gazebo really was the best option for me.  The view is still breathtaking, and the pictures will be gorgeous.  The aisle is very small since it backs up to a wall, but depending on how many people you have coming, it's not a problem.  I have 50 (39 sitting for the ceremony) and they are making it work with no issues.

I have pictures of all angles and videos walking up to the gazebo from when I visited, pm me if you are considering the Gazebo and want to see.

Hello Ladies,

We just returned from our wedding on July 7th. Everything was perfect and we could not have picked a better place. Diana our wedding coordinator did a fantastic job. We are leaving for our honeymoon to Turkey and Greece for 3 weeks but will be sure to post a review upon our return. If anyone has any quick questions we will gladly answer them over the next two days. Do not second guess your decision Le Blanc is #1 on tripadvisor for a reason. All of our family and friends have not stopped calling to tell us what an amazing time they had and all want to join us for our 1 year anniversary. We got married at the gazebo at 6pm and had our cocktail hour on the Blanc terrace and our reception in the ballroom. We had a total of 32 guests.

We also treated 20 of our guests to a night out at cocobongos in the gold member section. If you are interested in going, look into this package, we had a private area upstairs away from the crowd and an excellent view of the show.

Jetsettin bride have a blast this weekend it will be everything that you wish for.

Margot

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
