Hi all,

If anyone has information on their experiences at Grand Sunset Princess, please let me know.  We've booked everything for April 2013 and are currently deciding on which package to go with.

We're looking at the Chill Out area for our reception as well as the Royalty package because we are doing a legal ceremony.

Does anyone have any advice or experiences to share?  It would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

L.

OMG! M&m photog beautiful! Is that photographer down there? I'm getting married there inDec 2013. Hey L, we stayed at the Riviera side last spring but it is basically the same resort together. It is beautiful that's why we decided to get married there. Plus having been there we know already. I have chosen the "Mayan Ceremony" for ours. They will let u make changes for extra $$ of course. They have been awesome for faxing/emailing. If I can suggest which restaurant I will b picking LaFleur. As far as traditional fare (nice steak, beautiful presentation) It is my choice for ours hands down. I also suggest you do NOT get a pedi or treat your ladies to that down there. Massage or other spa stuff yes. But they just do plain polish and me and my fiancé had 1 hr massage and I had pedi on top I came out 5 mins after him....you do the math. Any other q's or if u want pics of food I have that too. Just PM me....who are using for photography and how much???

I totally agree with laurissa37,  MTM's photographer,  Linc has a way of capturing the GOLD in his wedding "moments that matter".......telling the wedding story with unique style + flair :)

Wishing you all the best with your decisions, and that you have the gorgeous wedding you've always dreamed of! Cheers :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
