Hi ladies,

I know the wedding dates are approaching for most and I was just wondering who is working as your wedding coordinator (is she onsite or offsite) and at what point did she contact you for the planning process? I was told I would hear from a coordinator at the 3 month mark, then they said the 2 month mark then I saw the 2 month mark come and go but still no one so I called Le Blanc and have been put in touch with Silvia who is in Miami...while she seems very nice she said she is a new coordinator and does not know  the details. I sent a photo of a wedding at Le Blanc done in the standard signature style decor (which is the package we purchased) and it seems everything is an "additional charge" even though it is the standard described in the pkg.

Just wondering if anyone is having a similar experience or has any advice.  ALso wondering when you ladies started planning with a coordinator and if she in onsite or in the miami office.

Also have any of you attended the Le Blanc Webinar a few weeks ago? If you have do you know the rep from Le Blanc Yolanda's last name and/or email?

Goodluck ladies!!!

Happy planning

I also got assigned to Silvia Gonzalez through the Miami office. From what I have heard.....the miami office sucks big time and I am having no better experience. Was supposed to have a planning session (phone call) with her this morning and she did indeed call but then was supposed to call me back in a half hour because I had something I was right in the middle of (my vet appointment for my vet took longer then expected because they were behind schedule). Well..... Its been about 5 hours now and no call. I emailed her 2 hours ago and no response. Good thing I cleared my whole morning and afternoon for her! Also, no one seems to know if the colin cowie weddings will be available to me. They are supposed to come to Palace resorts in June, my wedding is in october. Silvia tells me that they are not available at Le Blanc and that Le Blanc isn't a palace resort. I find it quite baffling that when you go on palaceresorts.com Le Blanc is an option as a resort! So what is it!?!?!?!?!?!? This has already been a terrible experience and I wish that I had just gone with another resort all together. This damn resort better be worth the money!!!! Because the planning has been a pain in the *ss so far and their website is incredibly misleading in every way with a lot of fluff but no real information. I guess its because their so "luxurious" that they also need to be very mysterious and keep their guests wondering what the hell is going on. So not happy. Let me know if you have found out any more information on your end because I have nothing! If I hadn't already put the down payment down for this resort I would be out!

Also, do you know if the colin cowie collection is coming to Le Blanc also in June? Silvia says no, but I don't think she knows what she is talking about and the miami office has a terrible reputation on-line when you check a bunch of review sites. She actually already never called me back this morning as she said she would. So, now she is definitely on my ****list. Its been such a hassle trying to coordinate everything, I would not choose Le Blanc again if I had to do it over. It better be worth the money when I get there!

Hi Ladies -

My wedding is in July and I visited in February and met with Sandra onsite.  I pushed to get a coordinator before the 3 month mark and I think Yesenia got so annoyed she gave me a girl named Joannis, but at the 3 month mark I wasn't getting responss and found out Joannis was no longer working the Le Blanc weddings, and I was given Silvia.

We did talk on the phone and she has been responsive about most things, sometimes it takes some hounding from me but there are several emails going back and forth between us, I think you just need to stay on top of her.

My onsite coordinator is Diana, she seems very helpful as well.

I don't believe the Colin collection will be there until Oct.  When I was there in Feb they said they thought MAYBE this summer if it came early, but most likely the fall.

Hi ladies. I am about a week away from our Le blanc wedding and sagged that Silvia wasn't great but Sandra prieto is very helpful. I've been to Le Blanc and it is a palace resort and is gorgeous and worth it.!! The Colin cowie collection I don't know about but I do t actually love his collections I think the Le blanc packages are even nicer!!! The Le blanc site doesn't have great info but the small details are chosen via email with the onsite coordinator weeks before the wedding and the pkgs include just about everything but beware it only includes 3 hrs of reception time (which I just found out) so we had to pay for the 1.5hr extension and outdoor weddings are buffet only and must end at 10pm. Will be at Le blanc in less than six days so if anyone has a question email or message me. Ahh it's so close hopefully all will go well!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
