I need to update you guys...I almost feel like I want to cease blogging because I'm a bit embarrassed and overwhelmed...A lot has happened in the past couple weeks and while I still get to marry the RIGHT man I will not be having my dream Bahamas wedding....I'm full of mixed emotions but am trying to focus on the positive...My wedding will now be a destination wedding - in Virginia Beach, Virginia! It has opened the flood gates of what DIY I can do since there are no limitations to what I can bring! I will hopefully catch up blogging soon and I have lots of pictures to share with you guys! <3 AmberDominique

No need to feel embarrassed, we all face many challenges when it comes to a wedding. Please don't cease blogging, you are such an inspiration! I will anxiously await to read the next installment of your wedding planning adventures. Planning a wedding is never easy, regardless of it being in the Bahamas or Virginia Beach. Now you can really go crazy with the DIY, maybe even get those milk bottles going!

Please don't feel embarassed! Things always change with weddings during the process, and like you said, you're marrying the right guy in the end of all the planning, even if you feel overwhelmed for a bit, which is totally understandable with such a change!

I hope everything is okay, and please know that there are many of us who are loving your planning thread and are here to support you!!

I actually want to keep blogging because of your comment. The fact that you care so much is the reason I started blogging! I broke my camera by dropping it, so my posts are on hold right now but I'm going to work this weekend to get caught up and start back again! Thanks for reading and commenting! Please don't be sleepy at work on my account..the posts are not going anywhere :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
