Hi Nursebrooke!

I am getting married at RPLA on May 10, 2013.  I'm having a hard time finding information and reviews as well.  I did get photo packages options and pricing available from the on-site vendor, Adventure Photos.  Here is a sample of their work...if you provide me with an email address I can send you the price list.

My travel agent emailed me some information regarding the wedding package I selected along with spa info: http://www.renovaspa.com.  I guess the spa is an independent company from the hotel and you'll need to contact them directly for pricing and further information

I hope this helps!  If you have any additional information please feel free to pass it my way.  Thanks!!!

Hi All,

I have also booked my wedding for RPLA (Sept 2013) excited! I have been searching trip advisor and this website for some hints and tips. Just general stuff really, what is the best location? Resturant? What options are there for extras i.e. reception, first dance etc. The best reviews I have found are on here but they are a bit old now so pricings are probably way out of date, but they gave some good ideas. I have tried to email the coordinator loads of times but he basically sent me a list of things we could have, with no pricings huh.gif so it wasnt that helpful and basically told me he would be intouch nearer the time! I would be really greatful if any of you B2B who are getting married sooner than me could share any info you have.

Thanks,

Jodie xxx

Hi,

I'm also getting married in RPLA in Sept 2013 (excited!). So far the best reviews I have seen have been on here, they are a little old now so pricing will probably be out but still gives you a good idea of what you can have and how you can plan your day out. I have tried to email the wedding coordinator to request a current price list however he sent me the list with no prices on huh.gif not very helpful. If any of you B2B getting married before me could share any info I would be so grateful. There was a lady who posed a few years ago her wedding sounded amazing (amazing but expnsive)! She had a cocktail hour and then hired out 'pasha' for 1st dance and party. Can I ask how the rest of you are planning out your day?

look forward to hearing from you,

Jodie xxx

Hello everyone! Well I'm new to this site and so happy I found it! We just booked our wedding for 8 Nov 13. So nervous because I really have no idea what I'm doing.  Is anyone else getting married on paper before going? All the required documentation just seems so tedious. I wish everyone happy planning and the best of luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
