    Hello,

I can't decide whether or not to wear white/Ivory or the wedding color (Mauve) for the welcoming dinner. I know traditionally, brides wear white but I thought it would be cool/different to have the same color on as my bridesmaid. What do you think? I will be getting the dress made to match their color exactly.

Your opinion would be greatly appreciated.

I think the tradtion of wearing white is specific to the wedding day, and some brides have adopted this standard to apply to the welcome and/or rehearsal dinner. Is there a theme or dress code color for your guests during the welcome dinner?

No, they can wear any color.... I would like everyone to dress casual.
