Finally!  A Boscobel bride!  I am working with the destinationweddings.com.  I have booked our room and have just started the process with the wedding planner.  So I'm in the beginning stages.  My mind is racing with all the decisions and the unknown!

I am getting married there October 2013... so far, we have our room, wedding date, and time booked. I have a phone app't in two weeks to discuss wedding options, and we're pretty sure we have everything picked out. I do have lots of questions though!

I would love to hear advice and your experiences!

Hi girls! Just got married at Beaches Ocho Rios (formerly Beaches Boscobel) on May 18th. I am sitting in the MoBay lounge in the Montego Bay airport so I figured this would be the perfect time to write a review. There was very little information on the resort when we first booked so I was very nervous. Turns out there was no need to be! We had 19 guests and we had a fantastic time! Every one of our needs was met and the wedding team led by Kamesha was very accommodating. We got a category upgrade on our room for booking more than 5 rooms with out group, which gave us a concierge room with walkout straight to the beach! Although we didn't take advantage of many of the concierge amenities, there were plenty! Anyone who is considering getting married there and needs more information feel free to contact me anytime! [email protected]. I will also try to post pictures as soon as I can.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
