Dominiqueamber - you definitely should.  I called around to all my area Walmart stores - I was told to ask for the Jewelry Dept...I guess they oversee the handbag dept...anyway I was able to round up 46 of them...I figure any extras I can use as grocery bags for myself or use as gift bags down the road.  GOOD LUCK!

Oddly, when I first starting calling around, they said that they could not look up by SKU # which I thought was absolutely RIDICULOUS!  I even tried looking for them online that way - no such luck.

I just called - asked for Handbag Dept and they sent me to Jewelry.  I told them I was looking for a recycled bag I saw in the Handbag Dept hanging on the wall.  It was Navy Blue with White Anchors...marked for .88 cents.  Some found them right away - some seemed clueless!  For instance, one store said they did not have them (I think they were too lazy to really look).  My sister-in-law went into that same store that evening and found 3-4 bags for me!!!!!!!!!!!  My BFF helped me by having some of her co-workers who lived in out of the way towns - check their Walmart for me.  That's how I got an extra 6 bags!  I've been shopping everything based on an estimate of 40 bags needed.  (1 per couple)

Apparently Walmart will not "HOLD" anything for you, but I was able to sweet talk some of stores!  I just explained my story of welcome bags for a Destination Wedding I was having....a few were like, oh such a nice idea!!!!

(Nuts buying for 40 with a year to go until the wedding, but my estimate list is close to that - so it is helping me make progress with the OOT bag items.  Any leftover items - some I can return - some I will use - and some I can always sell on here, right?)

Oh dang! I wish I had read this one before I bought my anchor bags from old navy. They are cute but 1.00 each, and every little penny counts! Brilliant find! Have you received any of your anchor vista print items yet? I would love to see a pic of the finished product? I keep hearing all these great things about VP deals, but frankly I got a little overwhelmed clicking through their website and didn't see all these deals people have mentioned.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
