The store I went to was called Dai Dai Arts & Crafts Imports Co. and it was located at 223 Spadina Avenue. It was on the East side of Spadina north of Queen but south of Dundas. I hope that helps.

I just bought 50 and figured I would figure out the distribution later. I know my dad would use a fan if he was hot, so I didn't want to only get enough for the woman. But we'll see how many people end up coming and how much $ I feel like spending later... I was thinking of leaving them in a little bucket at the end of the aisles or something liek that.

I just bought 50 off of the knot (79 cents each) plus $10 for shipping. they should be arriving any day. My plan is to leave them in a basket at the welcome/guestbook table. Im not sure how many guests we are going to have yet, but my best guess is about 50. I got the now because 79 cents was too good to pass up!

I don't know if the guys will actually use them, but I bought enough for them just in case. I'm putting pink ribbon on more than half for the girls and green ribbon on the others for the guys. I figure if they don't get used, I'll bring them back and give them to some future bride on BDW!

Ooh - this seems like a super good deal. I want to order some but I don't know how many people are going yet. Right now there are 36 but I thought we were going to have 50 or over??

Are these the scented ones? I ordered a couple "sample" fans from Asianideas.com a while back just to check the quality, and they had the nastiest smell! Ick... a pity because they're so cute and dressier than the palm fans.

Hmmmm, I don't know about them being stinky. I ordered a bunch and they didn't smell, but it could be a batch thing. Perhaps they smell when they get wet or something, but mine were (are) fine.
