If you're anything like me, I'm on the larger cup size, the thought of lil stickers holding up these big girls or worse having those God awful chicken cutlets give me more then I need is my nightmare. I don't want to be one of those bride who has cleavage in all her wedding pics. No gracias! Good luck!

Nope...I'm the total opposite. I NEED a bra cuz I'll need the extra padding and lift so that I don't look like a 10 yr old boy. I WANT CLEAVAGE dammit!! lol

Thank you ladies for all your bra suggestions. I'm goig to look into everything mentioned, starting with Nu Bra and Nordstroms online and working down from there.

@dazeydawl my favors are kinda all over the place. Not quite sure what my theme is at this point but so far I have a few little things i.e.: Mini rum bottle with name and seat number, a CD of our fave reggae love songs, bubbles at the ceremony and I haven't fully decided but will probably do a cake box of JA rum cake for guests to take home.

After being on this site I feel slightly bad for not doing a OOT bag but I can't be bothered. It's an expense I can't afford right now :-(

In that case I have a recommendation. I was reluctant to post because everyone seemed well endowed and I assumed that you were. This is what I went with, nothing else gave me the 'help' that i needed.  If :

I plan on having it sewn into the dress so it won't shift/slide or do whatever it might do. If only I had factored a breast aug into the wedding budget.

Nu Bra will be perfect for you!  They have a push up one as well. I'm about an A cup, and I swear by it.  I wear it with every strapless tank/dress I have.  I've gone through two pairs now.  Just bought my third to save for the wedding :)

Hello Ladies!!

I have been checking out the Destination Website but haven't posted on the May 2013 thread just yet! So, I wanted to finally say hello and introduce myself because I am sure I will be having questions and asking for suggestions from you guys!

My fiance and I are getting married on May 25th in Cancun Mexico at the LeBlanc Spa Resort!! I cannot believe that we are getting married in 4 months! We are so excited!!

Have most of you sent out your actual invitations yet? I am planning on sending them out next week. I ordered the boarding pass invitations from Allurements by Rebecca and she did an awesome job!

Also, I am trying to think of what I am going to put in my OOT bags as well and noticed you all have such great ideas. I am just nervous that I am going to have a ton of luggage that Ill have to bring on the plane, but I am sure that it will all work out!

Hope you all have a great day and talk soon! Happy Planning!

Hey Melissa,

Welcome to the May 2013 thread and congrats on your engagement!  I'm glad you found us; your definitely in good company.

I believe that most of us have already sent our invites out.  I actually mailed mine in September with an RSVP date of March 1, 2013.  But I also didn't bother with STDs.  Rebecca does really great work, and if I didn't DIY I probably would have gone with her for my invites. We're all about pic in this thread, so if you don't mind sharing, we would love to see the final product.

I actually decided against OOT bags primarily because I didn't want to be bothered with lugging them to MX.  I opted for pre-travel packages instead.

Excellent choice by the way with choosing LeBlanc for your resort and venue.  I've seen a few pics from previous brides and it looks amazing.

Welcome!!!  I have not sent out my invites yet (I'm slacking!!) But I did send STD over the summer with all of our TA info on it.  We have over 40 people booked so far, so I didn't feel the urgency to send them out right away.  I also didn't want to "remind" people of the trip right around Christmas.  We are having an RSVP date for March 25.  I am DIYing the invites because I have a great friend who does graphic design, and hope to have these printed and ready to assemble by next weekend.

Those who haven't booked have said they plan on using their tax return so I thought this was a good time to send them out!

I am doing OOT bags, I didn't do canvas bags because of the room they take up, but found some great bags cheap on oriental trading.  We are doing a beach towel per couple (or 1 for singles) so they are taking up way to much room!  But I'm doing First Aid Kits (In sickness & in health) Chap Stick (you may now kiss the bride) Lottery Ticket (Lucky in Love) Room Key Holder (a whole saying is going to go on the insert), gum, tissues, snacks, anti bacterial (spread the love, not the germs), koozies, bottle opener, and whatever else I come up with.

We are flying first class so I have 2 extra bags (totally stole my FI's extra bag) for "stuff".

Time is going to fly by, I felt like just yesterday I had over a year to plan!

Welcome! We just sent out our invitations a week ago, but had also sent out STD's so everyone already knew what was going on. We also did a website through The Knot, which also has all the information.

We are just doing small welcome bags (paper, not reusable), as I wanted to have a little something four the guests. Aother reason was that we wanted to include a welcome/thank you letter, and we are also including a "wedding day timeline" that my FI is making. This way I won't have to repeat myself and tell everyone 50 times what time the ceremony starts, reception, etc. After thought, we didn't think it was necessary (for our guests) to include a lot of the toiletree stuff, because we figure everyone will bring that. So far my thoughts are:

  1. deck of cards
  2. travel tissues
  3. pens and a puzzle book (sudoku, wordsearch, crossword)
  4. snacks - hitting up costco for this. Just small things like granola bars, packs of crackers, etc. We are staying at an AI, but I know when I've been on vacation sometimes I just wish I had a little something
  5. gum
  6. shout wipes
  7. bug wipes (I heard the "sand fleas" can be bad - yuck!)

Still working on ideas for other stuff, I figure I'll just hit up the dollar store and Costco and see what speaks to me :) I recommend getting those "space saver" bags that you can use a vacuum on. This really can help with the space on things.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
