Ali, This was definitely worth the wait. Your photog did an amazing job capturing your wedding day. these pics are phenomenal and you were absolutely beautiful. Congrats newlywed and thanks for sharing your memories. It's been great fun planning with you over the past year and I wish you both many years of happiness! Tova

Gorgeous Ali!! I'm so happy for you, your photos are just stunning. Mairen really captured your love, and the feel of your trip to Negril so well. Seeing yours up on the blog makes me really excited for ours! I'm hoping they'll post ours in the next few weeks!  :)

 

For those who don't know, Ali posted a link to Luckygirl a while back and I clicked on it and fell in love with their photos. We ended up letting go of the photographer that we had paid a deposit on down here in Mexico and flying Mairen and Rachael of Luckygirl down for our wedding. In the end it was cheaper than our original photographer would have been, which is hard to believe, but true.

Thanks Tova! I was worth everything, the wait and every single penny. I can't wait to see the rest, there's about 1500 edited images that ill be getting on a disc so I'm so excited to pick that up on Friday!

Thank you! My photographer is from my city, Winnipeg. She was one of the many many photographers at our annual wedding show and I just loved her work so we flew her down to Jamaica with us. Definitely the best decision we made.

Hi May ladies! 

 

I wasn't super active on this thread for the last few months leading up to the wedding (by that point I was done with planning and ready to start the party, lol), but I just got our photos back from our photographers this weekend. Hiring Katya Nova to document our wedding day was one of the best decisions we made, and looking through the photos was like reliving the day all over again.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
