I am wearing a waltz length veil (about calf length). Who knows how I will handle it with the wind...that's one of my worries but I hate the look of those veil weights so I'm gonna wing it.

I have about a dozen mercury glass holders and another dozen silver tealights.. that's just not enough on its own.  I just want something simple and beautiful... but not empty looking... sigh.. two years of planning and I never thought I'd be here one month out.

Do you have bridesmaids who will have bouquets?  I am using all of our bouquets as centrepieces.  I bought vases and glued burlap and lace around them.  I also am using mercury glass votives and tea light holders.  I picked up double sided picture frames from Ikea and I'm going to have photos of us in black and white on one side and the other side "I Spy" sign for photo poses.  I also am taking down my own place cards and menus.

I have 5 rectangular tables. I'm doing the 11'' borby lantern from ikea ($10) with a pillar candle and on either side I'm doing a small silver pail with an assortment of garden roses and other flowers. The pails are also from ikea and were $1 each. The florist for my resort is providing the flowers at $25 a pail or $50 a table. My resort provides burlap runners at no charge. And I'm still debating adding some votives

We're also doing rectangular tables. I got tall (maybe 12") cylinder vases and white Rotera lanterns with tealights from Ikea. I'm going to alternate those and put orchids in the vases w a floating candle and turquoise stones in the bottom- Hopefully it looks ok lol! Pic below shows the layout we are also doing, and you can see her luminaries there, we'll be replacing those with vases and lanterns.400

We leave for the Now Sapphire in exactly three weeks! I am so excited, but I'm sad to say I am WAY over planning. Is this normal? I don't want to make any of the last minute items (fans/ programs, menus, door hangers, etc.) that I was planning on, but I'm worried I'll regret it later on. Advice?

If it doesn't matter to you and your FI, then don't worry about doing it just to please other people. I hadn't planned on doing any of that, but ended up doing so, and will say I'm glad that I did. My FI made all of ours in publisher, if you're interested in just using ours as a template to save time, I'd be more than happy to share what I have :)

Tova,

What length do you use? Obviously you go a little longer on the edges. I really like this look.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
