To do in no particular order in the next 4 weeks:

Purchase another bandeau bikini (need to avoid tan lines for the first 3 days)

Complete Reception playlist (songs chosen but not organized)

Complete mock-ups for WC use

Get E-Ring polished and photo ready

Purchase frames for all signage (picked out, just need to make the trip)

Figure out veil situation (maybe alterations)

Contact USPS to hold mail delivery for 2 weeks

Contact banks for out of country transactions

Order Bouquet charm

Items with hard dates:

04/20 Mail remaining Pre-Travel Packages (half were hand delivered to guest in Portland and Seattle)

04/20 2nd fitting and groom alterations

05/11 Hair Extensions Install

05/12 Complete all packing

05/12 Brazilian

05/14 Shellac Mani/Pedi and Fresh set of lash extensions

05/15 Depart for Mexico

On another note, my guestbook puzzle cam in today... very happy with it!

What's everyone doing for "Card Boxes"?  I don't want to lug a big box down there when I already have enough stuff to bring!  But then what are guests going to do with the cards they want to give you?  Anyone heard of collapsible card boxes that could be assembled down there?  Suggestions... please???  :-)

We are just doing a card box for the AHR, we told people no gifts so I feel like it sends the wrong message. I'm sure people will bring cards but they can just go on cake table/next to guest book, etc. not gong to worry about bringing a box for them.

I am now wondering if I should put more in their bags.  I got them bikinis (Fig Leaves), flip flops (Havaianas - they're the BEST), necklaces (Etsy), and bags (Vistaprint).  Maybe I will pick them up magazines in the airport or lotion at Bath & Body Works.  BTW, I LOVE the robes.  I really wanted to do robes until one of my bridesmaids happened to get me and my maid of honor robes for the holidays.  I quickly had to change my plan and went with bikinis instead.

Thanks Girls!

Yes I got them from Silkandmore.  The owner was so great!  The robes came all the way from India and it only took 2 weeks?  Maybe a little longer.  I washed and steamed them when they arrived.  They fit the girls perfectly - such a hit.  I can't wait to take photos of us wearing them the morning of the wedding!

My Tech uses the  Resse Roberts lash extension line.  I honestly have never gone swimming in them, but then again I started getting them installed this past January I don't live in a warm enough climate to swim during the winter months.  I have been in jacuzzis, saunas and shower daily without any issues. the pic below is my beofre and after pic.  I may go with a fuller set for the wedding, we'll see.

I'm gonna show some ignorance here... but are those "eyelash extensions"?  I didn't even know such a thing was possible.  Where do you get something like that done, how do they do it?  Everything about this is surprising to me.

I'm filling out my DJ info form.  Sorting out all of the special songs.  For father/daughter, mother/son dances are you guys dancing for the full length of your songs?  I want to do The Best Day (Taylor Swift), but it's 4 min 10 sec.  Feel like it's a bit long ... but maybe I'm wrong.  I'm just being conscientious of how little time we have for the party (8:30-11pm).

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
