May 2013 Brides

Recommended Posts

Hi Ladies,

So excited for everyone! What an exciting time. I also had my stagette last weekend.

I am so thankful for my wonderful bridesmaids! they did an amazing job! We learned how to pole dance, have a stagette themed game of cranium and then headed out on the town in a limo! This made me even more excited for the trip to Mexico with all my friends and foamy.

As a few of you have stated previous, my concentration at work is increasingly depleting by the day :)

So jealous of all your bachelorette parties!  I wish I had one, but my MOH (who is my cousin) doesn't really know any of my friends and everyone is out of state (they in NYC and Cali) and me in DC.  I just opted not to do it.

I'm an April bride but this forum has by far helped me the most in my planning journey.  Sharing ideas and support and keeping it active!  I leave in the morning for Cayman and I'm so excited that the time is finally here! I'll be back to report on my experience!

I am also so completely jealous of all the stag parties!!! I only have two bridesmaids one of which is in another province so I also opted out of having a stagette. Same thing with a bridal shower. Deep down I wish someone threw me one but it never happened :( oh well I leave in just over 2 weeks!!!!! It's definately crunch time. My last day of work is next Saturday (yay!) and I only work two days this week so I'm beyond being distracted....

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
