super random question: those of you that have white linen button down shirts for groomsmen, are you planning on them wearing undershirts (t-shirt) or nothing underneath at all, I am the most clueless person when it comes to menswear I think. My fiancé suggested the ribbed cotton undershirts but I know those will show and look horrible.

So I had our guys try both ways and truthfully with the linen I did not like the look of the tshirt/undershirt underneath it. Dress shirt absolutely but for some reason (maybe cause the linen is more casual ...im not sure....) the tshirt took away from the shirt at the neck line. I am going to look for tank tops perhaps and see if that may work if not -they are going without...

Absolutely beautiful! I like the modified sweetheart neckline too especially since you're placing the sash at the empire waist.

Thanks so much ChocoTaco! I had no choice...my heaviest part is my tummy LOL...wanted to take the attention away from it, and I needed the length bring on the shorter side hahahahaha

I would leave as is. I'm also quite busty, and worry about showing too much on that day. I wouldn't want to worry about feeling exposed. But that's just me :)

Thanks LKocelko! I think I will leave it as is as well :)

I am actually the opposite - I hate when guys have undershirts on.  I hope my FI and his GM don't wear one but I am not going to dictate to them either way.  I def. think guys look better without one.

I just finished mine. The raffia fans are from Oriental Trading Company and the brochures I made on Vistaprint.

I told my guys they could do whatever they felt most comfortable with but most of them asked my preference as well so I told them I preferred no short under....def doesn't work well with the linen....

You probably do because everything came quickly - at the most 1 1/2 weeks after I ordered them and then I just super glued the post card to the fan.   Another easy option, I was in Party City (not sure if they have one in Canada - but really any party store probably has these) and I found program paper that you can buy and then you just print your own.  Super easy and cheap!

However, I also don't think programs are necessary. I think we all get what is going on.  Plus, people will have been all together for at least a day or maybe more and they will probably already know who is doing what.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
