I did make them!  I had all of my girls come over and make them one evening.  Then I decided to try a coloured pair.  I actually have been really debating selling them!  Here are my silver pair ... They are a bit more pearly in person.

OMG I LOVE!!!! If we all weren`t getting married in like a month I`d ask you to make mine for me!!! LOL

That is too funny that your man is from here...where do you live now

I am actually from Brampton and the FI and I lived in Milton til about a year and half ago we moved to Orangeville --my best friends live here and his sister too, and my FI kids from his previous marriage live in North part of Brampton so it made sense when we were looking for the small town feel that orangeville be the place. I went to high school in Brampton so I knew a lot of ppl from Orangeville. Small world!

I think it`s your preference as well -- any will look good , although I prefer a slim tie as well.  I feel like my groomsmen are so under dressed compared to all of you hahahahaha....and so is the Groom! They are wearing beige linen pants with short sleeve white linen shirts untucked....and my FI is wearing a dressier linen pant from Tommy Bahamas with a long sleeve white checked linen shirt rolled at the cuffs tucked in with brown leather belt...they seem so casual compared to all you ladies ;)
No way I think your groomsmen look is perfect! Ours are doing tan linen pants, white linen button downs untucked with sleeves rolled up, fiancé is wearing linen suit pants, linen vest and same shirt with sleeves rolled up and a tie.

Thanks Kal520, sounds like our groomsmen will be pretty much the same...I`m just worried the FI isn`t going to be dressed up enough....he really didn`t want to be much different then guys so the long sleeve linen and better quality pant to make it a little more dressy was all I could convince him of LOL

@Kdoyle - I love the laid back look. The weather will beHOTand I expect my GM to be in just their shirts, sleeves rolled up before the end of the ceremony anyways.

As for the GM outfits, my FI says he thinks bow ties are LAME. Gosh...I spent all day shopping for this particular look for them and he now tells me he hates bow ties and good luck getting any of the guys to wear one. hahaha!

I honestly went in EVERY store from low to high end. I saw some really cute ties at a mens store called Stars I think it was called. They were only $15-$20 too. And they came in all colors from peach, pink to coral. That's the colors I'm currently looking for.

I am at a loss for my "something blue." Do you ladies have suggestions?? I had gotten this pair of super cute blue and white lacy underwear from Victoria's Secret...and then realized when I went to a fitting that you could see them through my dress!! Anyone have any unique ideas? I already have my shoes, am not wearing a garter.

This is my "Something Blue" Heehee, my FI will love it ;)

Etsy shop: GartersByKristi  She does all kinds of NHL, NFL sports team stuff!  I know you're not going with a garter, but just in case others are interested...

What about stitching your wedding date in blue thread under your dress? I also saw really cute blue crinolines on Etsy,

or blue shoes, or a blue rosary?  Pinterest has tons of fab ideas as well..

I was thinking of having our wedding date in blue sewed into my dress. I have a fitting April 10th, maybe I'll ask the lady about it. Back to Pinterest for more ideas :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
