Ali, I'm convinced you need to open your on etsy store once the wedding has passed and you've completed all you DIY projects...You're one crafty and creative cookie!
Aw thanks Tova!!!! These were actually extremely cheap and easy to make any one could do it. Overall I think it only cost me like $8-10 to make all 4 which would probably cost me almost $100 to buy. They do take some time but really it's just alot of cutting.

Still so much to do! And I feel I have no time!

Menus

Programs

Finish OOT bags

Centrepieces and table numbers

Finalize flowers

Decide and book hair and makeup

Music playlists

WRITE VOWS!!!!!!

Dress alterations and jewellery

Guestbook signs

Seating chart

Cake decorations

There's probably more on that list but that's all I can think of right now.

Hey Date Twin!

I'm in the same boat! 2 months from today I'll be married but we leave for Mexico on April 27 (1 week before)

What I still have left to do:

Select and purchase Groom (and groomsmen) attire

Arrange travel to and from Atlanta airport

Put together OOT bags (doing it in Mexico after we purchase more items there)

Print graphic design pieces I had designed (door hanger, itinerary, check in card, favor tags, custom menus)

Select hair style

Programs

Select location for Bridesmaid Luncheon (Hosting on March 23 but don't have location yet! LOL)

Purchase gift for my mom

Purchase cake server set and toasting glasses

Purchase Fiance's Wedding Band

Purchase Flameless Candles and Flameless Floating Candles

Purchase t-shirts (having them printed when we get to Mexico for guests to wear on Catamaran Excursion)

I'm sure there's more but that's the bulk of what's left. I'm trying to have it all done by end of March. That way I have 3 weeks left to go shopping and deal with unexpected issues.

I am however almost finished another DIY project. I was just gonna post all my projects on my planning thread as there are already multiple threads dedicated to most of my projects but I have yet to come across a thread for DIY wedding banners. So ill give my May brides to be a sneak peek of a DIY thread I might post soon.

This is actually on reversible banner! Just have to punch the holes and thread my purple ribbon through. I also have a second one that says just married and is reversible as well with the other side saying thank you. The banners pictured are for photo props as well as maybe ill put the love one on the cake table. The just married banner will be for our head table and thank you is a photo prop for our thank you cards we will have printed!

Those are amazing!!! I wish I was talented like that!

Here is where I am at with the planning.  I love everyone providing updates ... it keeps me on track.

TO DO

-Book Canadian Ceremony

-Apply for Wedding License

-Wedding Dress (Final Fitting)

-Bride Jewelery (Something Borrowed, Something Blue (Garter), Something New, Something Old)

-Groom Attire (Pants/Sandals)

-Welcome Bags

-DJ Song Request Sheet

-Order Vista Print Stuff (Dinner Menu, Thank You Cards, WeddingPics Business Cards, Welcome Brochure)

-Bride Shoes

-Wedding Flowers (Pictures Printed)

-Parent Gifts

-Ceremony Program (Fans)

-Book Hair Appointments (Pick Style)

-Book Mani/Pedi

-Book Airport Travel

I think this is it .... eek.  So worried about forgetting something.

There are so few weekends left.  Almost every weekend is booked up with stuff to do with the wedding now.  It's actually insane, I can't even imagine the stress of a traditional wedding.  We dodged that bullet girls!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
