We are doing one bag per room, unless there are two singles staying together (ie the BM and my FI's brother) in which case they would each get one.

I think they sell for 3 bags for $11.99. So with a 50% off coupon 3 bags for $6 is $2 a bag! Not bad! I just used iron on transfers to customize them

Great! I'm going to have a look!!  Where did you get the iron on transfers?  Is that an easy thing to do?

I was super easy! I originally bought transfers from micheals, DO NOT buy these transfers! They are horrible! I thought I wasn't doing it right and was having a super hard time but then I returned them and went to staples and bought the Avery brand transfers for light fabric and it was easy as pie. I designed everything in word, I think I got 5 to one sheet and just printed it on the transfer paper with my ink jet printer. I used my paper trimmer to cut them out staying as close to the font as I could then you just iron it on. It's hard to tell from the pic bit the color is much more vibrant in person. I just put Jamaica and the date because I didn't want them too personalized in hopes that people would use them again

I filtered on Etsy by "Ships to Canada" http://www.etsy.com/search?q=infinity%20ring&view_type=gallery&ship_to=CA

There seems to be quite a few, depending on what you're looking for.  I also am thinking about one for my MOH as a little something extra, but I hate buying plated jewellery.  Whereabouts in Canada are you, if you live near Michigan, you can always register for SCC Parcel Pickup in Port Huron, we use them all the time, they charge $5.00 to allow you to use their US address, and save a boatload on shipping!

I have been checking out the Destination Website but haven't posted on the May 2013 thread just yet! So, I wanted to finally say hello and introduce myself because I am sure I will be having questions and asking for suggestions from you guys!

My fiance and I are getting married on May 25th in Cancun Mexico at the LeBlanc Spa Resort!! I cannot believe that we are getting married in 4 months! We are so excited!!

Have most of you sent out your actual invitations yet? I am planning on sending them out next week. I ordered the boarding pass invitations from Allurements by Rebecca and she did an awesome job!

Also, I am trying to think of what I am going to put in my OOT bags as well and noticed you all have such great ideas. I am just nervous that I am going to have a ton of luggage that Ill have to bring on the plane, but I am sure that it will all work out!

Hope you all have a great day and talk soon! Happy Planning!

Hiya Melissa,

We are getting married just a tish south of Cancun on May 31. I can't believe we're down to the 4 month mark either. Kinda freaks me out when I think about everything I have left to do! I sent out my invites in Dec and have a RSVP date of March 01, 2013. That coinsides also with the fact that the guests have to have their trips paid off with the TA in mid April.  We're doing OOT but we're not going super crazy on what's in them cuz it's more crap we have to lug down and the guests have to lug back. So we're doing hangover kits and koozies. I am bringing down on my table decor so that's another reason I'm not going crazy on the OOT. The girls here are sooooo nice and are full of great ideas. Welcome to the May Brides!!

Best,

Melissa

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
