I wish I could order the bags now but I can't  because I don't know the exact amount of people who are going yet which kinda stinks. I have somewhat an idea, but not 100% positive on the exact amount. I sent out my Save the Dates in July and about to send my invitations next week..... I know of a few people outside of my family that have confirmed and already booked, but still have the people who are 50/50 right now. So, I won't know until March 15th which is the date I told everyone to let me know by.

SO, I almost feel like there is not much I can do right at this point until I know the exact amount of people who are going!

What are you ladies doing in regards to shoes if you are walking down the aisle on the beach? I am thinking that wearing heals is not the way to go because I dont want to be falling in the sand!! I don't mind wearing a nice sandle but for the rest of the night, I kinda wanted something more of a heal. I dont mind switching shoes however, I know that when they fit your dress for the last time, I need the shoe that I am going to be wearing....any suggestions on what you girls are doing?

Have a nice weekend!!!

Personally I'm just doing cute/embellished sandals the entire time. Definitely didn't want heels in the sand, and I figured for comfort I would just stick with them. I also didn't want to have any confusion with the length of the dress if I switched. But that's just me :)

Have you bought your shoes yet?

I am planning to wear cute embellished sandals for the ceremony and heels for the reception.  I am a little worried about the hemming of my dress, but my heels are not too high, so I think it should work.

Not yet, I figured in the next month or two stores would start carrying more options.

In that case I have a recommendation. I was reluctant to post because everyone seemed well endowed and I assumed that you were. This is what I went with, nothing else gave me the 'help' that i needed.  If :

I plan on having it sewn into the dress so it won't shift/slide or do whatever it might do. If only I had factored a breast aug into the wedding budget.

I don't know why I didn't think of this. I swear by the Miraculous bra...I have 4 of em. It's the only thing that "helps" me. But I never thought to have it sewn into my dress. I'm going to get the strapless one this week. Thankfully it's on sale.

@PuntaBride...I found the Nu Bra at La Vie en Rose. It's $50 and I have a gift card for $25 off so I can get it at half price which is amazing. It's non refundable for obvious reasons but I think I need to try it with my dress so I'm going to gather the best of the best options I can find and bring them all to my fitting.

Thank you ladies SO MUCH! I will let you know how it goes. :-)

This is the shoes that I had bought for my ceremony as I thought it would be easy to walk on the grass with a cute wedge.

They were on sale at Aldo for $30 or so...still available online if anyone needs a pr. and they also come in nude and other colours such as blue, black etc.

I think now I'm just going to wear flats though. These are pretty high. They're comfy (I've actually worn them out since I got them to test them) but I feel like I'd rather a flat now. And heels for reception.

wow, those sound amazing! Can I ask what they ended up costing per bag?  We have 42 guests coming, and really can't afford 42 bags, so I was thinking of a bag per room, or is that really cheap of me?

I have been checking out the Destination Website but haven't posted on the May 2013 thread just yet! So, I wanted to finally say hello and introduce myself because I am sure I will be having questions and asking for suggestions from you guys!

My fiance and I are getting married on May 25th in Cancun Mexico at the LeBlanc Spa Resort!! I cannot believe that we are getting married in 4 months! We are so excited!!

Have most of you sent out your actual invitations yet? I am planning on sending them out next week. I ordered the boarding pass invitations from Allurements by Rebecca and she did an awesome job!

Also, I am trying to think of what I am going to put in my OOT bags as well and noticed you all have such great ideas. I am just nervous that I am going to have a ton of luggage that Ill have to bring on the plane, but I am sure that it will all work out!

Hope you all have a great day and talk soon! Happy Planning!

Welcome Melissa!

I am also a May 25th bride, at the NOW Jade in Cancun :)  When do you arrive? Maybe we will run into each other at the airport :)

We haven't sent out our invites yet, but hope to by the end of the month.  We did it a little differently- we didn't ask guests to RSVP for MX, as we already know who booked and we've all already paid in full, and we are having an AHR 3 weeks after we return.  So, we only asked people to respond to that. I attached some pics for you- the middle section is a little wordy, but we wanted to put something a little cute in there, along w all the relevant details.  Also- as I am a single mom, we changed up the first part, which was my FI's idea (gotta love him!), he wanted to really make sure my daughter was included in our day in every way!

That's not cheap of you at all. I think the majority of us do one bag per couple/single. Most people come as couples. I think I only have about 4 singles bags and a total of about 18 bags

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
