that is a toughy.. The smallest details are always the hardest.. I think the 4 round will produce more bling if that's what you want to go for.

Have they ever made bands close to this style so you could see what each way will really look like?

Choco,

I do belive rounds catch more light and therefore have more sparkle.. But i like the look of the 4 baguettes and 3 rounds personally

Thanks for your input, I think i'm leaning towards the same.  You and MissB are correct in that rounds have the largest sparkle factor of any cut, but it's not a determing factor for me which maybe be obvious sicne I chose an asscher for the main cut in my e-ring.

I posted this to the ring thread, but yiou ladies seem to be quicker to respond and more helpful... Due my inability to find a wedding band that I actually like Justin and I have decide to go custom for both our bands and I will have my Asscher reset into a 3-stone as shown.  Iâ€m in the design phase and I'm stuck on one minor detail as to how I want my baguettes and rounds to alternate.  Let me know if you have a preference…

Im torn on this!!!!  I like the 3 rounds layout better but i think when its actaully lined up with the ering i like the 3 bagettes better. I dont know why but i just think that having a round diamond in the center of the band directly beneath the asscher throws it off a little seeing as the asscher is also round. geometrically speaking i think it would look better having the bagette line up center under the asscher... does that make sense? maybe im just crazy?

Ahh.. I see exactly what your saying.. that makes perfect sense.. I think that's why I too thought the 1st was more visually appealing. Tova, you have a tough decision on yours hands.

thanks for posting.... my sentiments exactly and when I expressed this to my Fi (almost verbatim of what you wrote) he looked at me like I was crazy. But my Asscher is actually an octagon in shape and my reset will emphasize this with the prongs that I'm using.  But I totally get the geometric symmetry that your referring to.  And since no one else was bringing this up, I thought that maybe it didn't matter, but it does.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
