okay ladies - 

 

I was able to add on another night for the group block... yay!!! So this definitly ease my mind. Thank you for all the advice and thoughts.

 

On another note, I wanted to know when are people going to start buying the items for the OOT bag, if that is what you are intending to do?

Ummm.. I started buying a few months ago... :-/  I got a little excited.. lol   If you want to see what I have purchased so far, you can go to my profile and then view my pics.. that makes it much easier than searching through forums for pics.

That's great.  Now you don't need to worry :)

 
I will probably just keep my eye open for things that are a good price.  I definitely will save any candies or things that might expire until closer to May.  It is a nice thing to get done way in advance though.

I actually started doing other things that don't include me knowing how many guest will come. I decided to save the OOT bags for last.

I just created a "facebook" template. I got the idea from a lady named Cynthia here on BDW.. I think it's my biggest project yet bc I feel like I need to stalk our guests to snag a picture and create a bio for each.

 Sorry.. I should have explained better.. It's actually a book I am creating with all of the guests. Like a "meet the guests" book. It will have their name, location, picture and a short bio. I plan to make it with 2 persons to a page and pring on front and back. So far mine is a tad smaller than a regular sheet of paper, but I may shorten the book so it wont take up so much room since I plan to put one in each OOT bags.

 

I have been debating on doing a wedding website... I want to but then I don't.. I'm soo addicted to this site I don't think I could be addicted to another online project.

Wedding websites are good because you can put all of the information pertaining to travel, booking, wedding, and hotel in one place and all your guests can access it anytime.  It can save you from answering the same questions a million times and also persuade people to go.

That is very true!.. Who did you do your website through?

 

I'm doing passport invites. :o) I am still tweeking mine a good bit.. I just changed all the Bahamas stuff yesterday to Punta Cana.. It's nice having a resort that you have tons of amenities to mention. :o)  but we can't seem to find a logo or image we like for the front. :-/

 

Have you made a final decision on your resort and wedding date yet?

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
