I just sent an email to my TA, so I'm hoping this doesn't affect anything

+1... I would stick with the 11th and consider changing your travel dates if at all possible.  I am also getting married on a Saturday and I have guests leaving on both Sunday and Monday. But the only guests tentatively leaving on Sunday are the non-alcohoic drinkers. Hangovers and plane rides are no fun.

yeah I agree, I am going to have to do the same thing.  The boys want to wear summer suits too so we will have to shop for that this summer as well.  Guess we just have to  hope no one grows, gets fat/skinny over the next year.

Hello mrsrepp!! We just booked our place & date, but it wasn't easy. We looked at several resorts while down in Mexico two weeks ago and the coordinator at Dreams said every day in April was already booked- So if you are really hoping for a wedding there, get on it ASAP! I know the feeling of having your heart set on something and then there's nothing available. We are still very happy with our choice even if it wasn't the first choice =) [PS Dreams Riviera Cancun we saw while there and it was beautiful!!!]

Good luck to you!!!!  Keep us posted!

AHHhhh the whole skinny fat thing is tough eh?  I know that two of bridesmaids want to get in better shape before we go.  I guess you can always have things altered (that does get pricey though).  Ah well, what will be will be!

Shay.. I think it shouldn't be a big deal to add a day.   The guests that will want to stay will have plenty of time to schedule their vacation days and the ones that can't stay can always leave on their originally planned day.. :o)   Are wedding is going to be on a Wednesday.. all of oour guests said they had plenty of time to work with our schedule.. Better flight prices as well.. So maybe if yall leave on Monday it will reduce flight costs ;o)

PuntaBride!!..  When are you getting married again?.. I say you should stick with me and go for the Majestic Elegance.. their resort looks sooo amazing!! ;o) I can't believe we are converting from our beloved Cloister/Atlantis.. But I think it's a better decision for our guests and especially us as far as prices go.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
