Hi Everbody,

I'm planning a wedding in Turks & Caicos from the DC area.  I have an apartment in NYC, so figured that I would jump on the bandwagon.

My fiance, Mom, wedding planner and I went down to check out resorts and villas.  The Island could not be more amazing and the people are beyond gracious.  Unfortunately (cheesy.gif), we have to go back in a couple of weeks since the villa we wanted is not available on our wedding day (2/23/2013).

I am in NYC all the time for work and business if anyone wants to chat about all things Turks & Caicos.  I highly recommend Cakes to Di For (Diane Guess) for cakes as well as Flowers by Environmental Arts for florals.  Both do incredible work.

hi i'm also from NYC (Manhattan) and planning a wedding for T&C.  Would love to meet up with you guys if you get together again!

By any chance, has anyone come across a villa that can accommodate about 30 people and be near a reasonably priced hotel?  There's so many beautiful villas but they often have only 5ish bedrooms.

I live in Manhattan and am planning wedding in T&C.  Would love to meet up with everyone if you are getting together again.

By any chance, has anyone come across any villas that can sleep about 30 people and be near a reasonably priced hotel?  So many beautiful villas but they seem have just 5-7 bedrooms.  Are villa owners easy about allowing more people to stay if we pay for extra people?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
