So my wedding is in October....Never dreamed of being married so I have NO idea what I want. I decided that a destination would be easier and less planning on my part. We have yet to find a Photographer...any suggestions?

Hello,

First of all, congrats on your upcoming wedding!! We are getting married at the RIU Montego Bay on November 17, 2012.  Our photographer is Michael, from Best Images  Wedding Photography. Their website is http://www.photoshopjamaica.com/

 

Michael seems really nice, and gets back to emails ASAP.

 

How is the rest of your wedding planning going? Where are you getting married at, at the resort? We are having our wedding at the beach gazebo. And reception on the beach as well. I am so excited!!!

We also are using Michael from Best Images Wedding Photography.  There are a couple reasons...he is very close with the RIU resorts and is very familiar with all of them. Also, he responds very quickly and we found his pricing reasonable.  I have read some not so great reviews about him but I have also read some great reviews plus his pictures seem to come out great!

 

We are also getting married at the beach gazebo but we are having our reception at the steak house and renting out the disco for after the reception.

Hi MrsHamblett2012,

I was reading your posts from another thread, and some others' post as well. Now I am thinking of getting married on the west beach where it is more private. I think I read a review where someone posted that they were getting married at the gazebo but decided against it, because it is in the middle of the beach, and everyone would be out, so they wanted something a little more private. I have to talk to the WCs about that.

 

May 11th is going to be here before you know it! How exciting!!! :)  Are you doing OOT bags for your guests?

Let me just tell you ladies that you will NOT regert choosing the RIU Montego Bay. It was the most fabulous time I've ever had.  I will try to get a review up ASAP. But seriously...dont worry about a thing...they have everything covered....we stayed for 10 nights 11 days and just arrive home this past Friday....WHAT A GREAT TIME!

Congrats on your wedding!! :) It is nice to hear a good review! Did you use Michael from photoshop jamaica? If so, how was he?

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
