Bridesmaids Verus Groomsmen?

Recommended Posts

When fiance and I got engaged a year and 2 months ago everybody was on board with our destination wedding in Jamaica that was going to be included in our bridal party. We each had 6 groomsmen/bridesmaids. Now 3 of the groomsmen are backing out but I still have ALL 6 of my bridesmaids... Is this okay? I think it will look a tad bit funny with 6 girls up front and only 3 guys..

What do I do?!? HELP!!!

I thought about telling the girls that a lot of the guys have decided not to come and we are only going to have our MOH and BM but I feel as though that is so rude.. opinions please...

I am having the same problem and for now we are only one person off so I am just going to let it go.

Have you thought about including some other family/friends that are going in the wedding party. While they might not be exactly who you had in mind, if you are that worried about it being equal you can always add, rather than subtracting. I think your bridesmaids will be a little hurt if you decide not to include them at this stage.

You can 2 maids for each gromsmen, have all the groomsmen stand at the alter and have the maids walk by themselves.

Have the bridal party sit down instead of stand up so the pictures aren't so uneven.

I don't think you un invite anyone, maybe there is someone else coming to you wedding that can ask stand as a groomsmen such as bothers, cousins, friends.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
