Hello ladies!

I forgot about this thread! I have been doing weight watchers since March 1st (my start date)....I have lost a total of 11.4 lbs as of today :)

A huge 'point saver' to me is my morning smoothie...frozen strawberry/bananas/mangos, spinach (all 0 points). A table spoon of chai seeds (0 points), 1/2 cup of almond milk (1 point), 1/2 cup of coconut water (1 point).

I have also been using the app itrackbites...which has been helpful! I don't track with paper anymore, I just use the app and it's wonderful!

Hi Ladies! I just found this thread. We're getting married in December 2013 and I would like to lose just a few more pounds to feel and look my best on the big day.

I became a lifetime WW member in 2007, but really haven't gone much since (many excuses, grad school, moving across the country). For the wedding I'm setting a new goal weight which is about 6lbs less from the lifetime goal I set. I started back at WW in March, and am going for my second weigh in this week (you only need to go once a month when you're lifetime).

It's been helpful to have a coworker who is getting married in September also join WW, we're working to motivate each other! My fiance is also amazing, and he helps cook great (point-friendly!) meals.

We can do this!

oh I wish my Fi would do that for me. lol He didnt think ww was needed if only I ate good blah blah blah.

WW definatly worked for me and so thankful I stuck with it. Im still maintainin my goal weight but I was about 5 lbs less then my goal weight which id like to get back to plus a little bit more BEFORE the wedding. Thankfully I have a bit of time to do this!

Congrats to all that are making changes :)

Hi Girls! I see that this forum has been dead for a while. I've been on WW for almost a year and have lost about 30 lbs. Unfortunately I've lost some motivation and have gained about 10 back. If I don't get my butt in gear I won't fit into my wedding dress so I'm trying to get back on the bandwagon! How is everyone else doing with their weight goals?

Well for me personally, I am 4 lbs away from my UGW that i set out for weight watchers when I first started and my NEW UGW will be another 10 after that before my wedding ( id like a nother 20 but i wont be gready, and I may look to skinny if I got that low)

All you can do is jump back into it. Today is a new day :)

Awesome work! I went back to WW in March and I'm down about 11 so far! Took a bit of a hiatus for a few months, but my FI and I are both on the bandwagon now, with the last few months to go before the wedding! We just bought the new 50th anniversary cookbook and are working hard at trying some of the recipes and being mindful of our portion sizes.

My FI gets 35 points a day while I'm stuck on 26. When I told him this, he started cheering "woohoo, bag of chips or 2 beers extra for me per day"! Stinker.

Congrats with your losses, ladies! I've been a lifetime member since the end of April.  My fiance doesn't believe in the program, so he won't follow it with me.  It makes it hard to stay on track, but it's all worth it in the end!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
