I tried posting this in the enterainment thread, but no response.. i'll try it here... :

 

Hey guys... I was at a few weddings at home where the bride and groom played a "love story" video during the receptions.. with pictures of them as babies, growing up, as they met and then together... does anyone do this for DWs? I really liked the idea, and the guests loved it, but I dont know if it woud be feasible... any ideas?

Hi

I made a slideshow but it wasn't a movie like the clip you posted. Ours will be played at the estate where we are having our reception. It is photos from babies to now. I know there will be tears. I made it with Photo to DVD Slideshow Software - Slideshow DVD, Photo to DVD, DVD Slide Show. I can burn copies or make it into a MP3. Does that help you?

is the reception playing is for you? i guess i have to ask whatever place i have the wedding if they have the equipment to play a dvd?

We will be doing a slideshow only too. I went to a good friend's wedding not too long ago they did slideshow and a short video, but not from babies to now. It will be neat if you can make it. Just talk to the WC to see if they can set up the equipment for you to play it. You can always play the DVD on your laptop.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
