So I finally got confirmation back from my TA who sent the original request out to Yinette, and she re-confimed that it's $70. :) *Phew*

The best thing to do is email the hotel. Because I have 3 different prices for add ons and packages.

My sister is a TA and have the 2013 rates and the packages are different with higher rates.

I was able to get the 2013 packages for the 2012 rates. Have u tried the hotel yet?

Also, she told me that when I was booking the 2013 prices weren't out yet but they would honor the 2012 prices.

It sounds like we got lucky booking early. I hope you can get them to work with you for whichever photographer you want!

Thats good ! Yeah Yinette did the same for me to with honuring the rates and I am using HDC Photography

Hey There!

Just a suggestion since you are comparing resorts before contacting them :)

I found that the amount of time each resort took to get back to me varied GREATLY when I was shoppingn around. So bear that in mind when considering a resort if it's important to you to hear back from them promptly. Ocean blue always emailed me back the same day, or the next if my email was later in the day...........some resorts I never even heard back from, and some took days.

I sort of did the same thing with Travel agents too, and in the end my choices were highly influenced by response time....lol. I can't stand people not getting back to me, so to me, it was important :)

Happy planning!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
