This is why I Love DWs!! I love making everything unique and something new. :o) and I LOVE italian as well!..

I was soo excited to take a pic.. But then realized I cut off my picture on the front.. :o( So I had to make some adjustment and now waiting to go upstairs and re-print it. I was hoping to get responses back on my other forum I have going by then.. Trying to decide what a good RSVP date would be.. Our weddings are close, ChocoTaco. When are you gonna have everyone respond by? and when are you sending your invites out?

Iâ€m excited to see your new RSVP design.  And no, I haven't posted my invites yet, I haven't even done a test print, but maybe I should find the time this weekend. I haven't even looked at them in a week. I wanted to make sure that when I see them again, that I have a discerning eye an am 100% confident that I love them. This is actually my fourth attempt at designing my invites, and I think it's made me a bit gun-shy. But I think a test print will help solidify my design. Then I can finally commit to my cardstock and ribbon color selections from the dozens of samples that I've accumulated over the past month... Who knew there would be so many white metallic/pearlescent cardstock options.

My resort doesn't charge for kids under 12 in the wedding package and I didn't want to have to pay for 15 and 17 year olds in my private reception's open bar, so I took it one step further in my RSVPs...

___ Yes, our passports are ready.

       ____ Adults (18 and over)

       ____ Teenagers (ages 13 to 17)

       ____ Children (12 and under)

___ No, we sunburn easily.

This might have been overkill, but I just tried to make it as easy as possible for myself.

Oopsie.. I wasn't finished responded before I hit send.... also, I remembered you had been responding to me on my other thread!!  Sorry.. thanks for the advice on the other thread!! I didn't realize til just now our dates were only a couple weeks apart!

You should def print a sample.. It really helps to hold it in your hand and check the spacing, etc. but I'm sure yours look great!!..  I sooo can't wait to see them!

I spent a day deciding on my invites paper and colors and envelopes. and just bought it all the other day.. Don't tell me about the diff Cardstocks!!  lol... I'm just gonna have to be happy with my decisions bc the last thing I want to do is buy a ton of paper.. I should have gotten samples.. But knowing me I'd change my mind a ton of times!..

That is actually a great idea!  And awesome your resort doesn't charge for 12 and under!!  And I love you response answers.. Super cute!!!

I think the only thing we need to know the ages for is our reception dinner, bc 12 and under are 1/3 of the dinner price.. I'm trying to do some research to see if I need additional age categories..

I too noticed that we both have wedding dates in May 2013; itâ€s going to be fun watching our wedding plans evolve!

My favorite flower is a green cymbidium orchid and this quickly became my inspiration for my color scheme…  chartreuse and sangria.  However, Iâ€m beginning to think that coordinating a wedding with these specific colors might be more of a challenge than I anticipated.

LOL… I guess I could have said green and purple, but I like to be descriptive!

Onto the RSVP…FYI, I donâ€t know if you have a Michaels in your area, or what the current promotion might be, but my local store is offering 40% of all paper trimmers and punches.

Love the hibiscus trio, it sits in the corner nicely!

Good call on increasing the RSVP font size, it has better proportions (at least I think itâ€s bigger? It stands out more)

And I hate that I didnâ€t mention this prior to your reprint, but for alignment I wonder if “Number Attending†should be reformatted. I like it when things line up (annoyingly so, just ask my Fi)

Number Attending:

____ Children (ages 2-12)

____ Adults

Itâ€s looking good, MissBubbles! Have you designed your invites yet. I would love to see the complete package

hehe.. I know what you mean! :o) Ahh... that light green Henkaa dress would be SUPER cute for your bridesmaids!!. My FI even loved them but it was way off from our pink and orange. :o(

Thanks for lettingme know, I'm gonna make a trip to Michael's tomorrow!

Yes, I did make it bigger!!.. And centered everything a little bit more. :o) And changed my dashed line.

You know... I played with that part forever!!.. It was trying me crazy how out of wack it looked!!.. Sooo didn't think about putting the lines first.. I'll def fix that when I do another re-print!!.. THANKS!!!

It's a really rough draft.. I've got to get them up to par with my RSVPs. Once I printed them they were sooo off centered.. I have a lot of work to do on those.. But hopefully within the next week or so I'll have a better one that I will show off. :o)

OMG, great minds think alike. I love convertible dresses and decided on them a couple of weeks ago.  I never heard of Henkaa.  When I first started looking I found TwoBirds, but they were pretty pricey ($250+)  but wanted to keep cost low for all involved and found some great sellers on Etsy. I will be ordering from one of the following do to their color selections: MuseBridalBoutique, StraathofDesign and cynrgyarts.  I know that StraathofDesign has more colors available then what they show in their listings, but maybe one of these sellers can be a good option for you if you haven't found dresses for your girls yet.

This so isn't RSVP related...sorry for the digression, I got a little excited!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
