Hi ladies i'm new here and just have a few questions we are getting married at MLD but when we began trying to find out what the inital deposit and how do we go about a group plan to get our date for our wedding we were told by someone from LUXE that we need to have 10 adults book within 30 days from our quote email and then it would go from there for us to pick a date for our wedding but how can we have people booking when we don't even have a date nor have sent out any save the dates yet? How did you all begin the process? I'm so lost right now. Thanks

Hey, From what I know, you shouldconfirmthe date and the group plan all at the same time. I actually confirmed my date first, the a few weeks later the trip but I was 14 months out so it wasn't a panic. You could shop around for wedding specialists because that sounds strict. Good luck! L

Hello Bride to Be Cuba.  We have a really great destination wedding checklist that you can find on our website.  It is a bride guide for destination weddings.  

 

Ideally you want to have the date confirmed first, and then the group plan.  There are some great resources on this site to help you out.

Hi there,

I'm not sure what that's all about but I had the best travel agent who booked my resort, got us 1 free trip for every 10 people who booked.

The resort was talked to by my agent to get and confirm the date and what flights were avaliable, so when I sent out the cards for everyone to book I had the date and flight info.

I did everything with her over the phone - she made it very easy.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
