Coconoir's Planning Thread Pgs 1-8, Final Review & Templates Pgs. 18-19

Recommended Posts

I think these look cool! I don't know what I am doing wrong! I've tried this size label and it is too big for my regular sized chapstick & it overlaps. I keep seeing everyone say to cut it, but how do you know where to put your design on the label? I am so challenged when it comes to DIY but I really want to change that during this planning process! Do you think you can email me a template of how you are doing yours? I'm trying to get my post count up and I can't access any of the templates yet! :-/

I bought the white Avery 2x4 labels and printed one sheet.  I got them to cut perfectly!  Thanks again for your guidance!!

Although, I think I may try the clear labels since the original chapstick label came off so easily.  I am wondering if the clear label will do the same thing against the naked white chapstick - give it that protective shine.  Or if I should just buy the wrap you speak of and cover the white labels.  Here are pics with white label...I only did one to start...I am doing a nautical them...although they look sort of plain.....I may have to play more with it and add a little more to it!

No worries on the multiple post, it happens sometimes undecided.gif  What is your email and I will send it to you.  With the 2x4 avery labels, you will get 2 stickers from 1 label (basically cutting that 1 label in half in order to get 2)  On the template that I will send, you will see the grid lines which you can either remove before printing or print with them...this will give you the perfect cut.

Kudos on this thread!!!! This  has been one of my favs to read and I can't believe that I have missed so much in a short amount of time.   I must have missed the part about your dress pick up mishap and boy I can relate in being upset about that dress. I am getting married 7/14 so only weeks away & I have yet to even see my dress!  I am having it made and took different aspects of different dresses by same designer and still nothing.  I had a little melt down on my way home from work since I was notified that my dress which was "PRIORITY" still is not in!!!  It was suppose to be in on 5/16 and we are in June.  I am in a  panic since I have no clue really what it will look like.  Sorry, to rant but I was amazed when I read that piece of your thread.  I hope  that doesn't happen when I go to pick it up (when it actually  gets here).

Thanks so much for the compliments ;-)  I can't wait to add some of our professional pics once recieved, the DIY thank you note cards and the revampment of our wedding website to showcase our wedding photos and TTD session..  now if I can just stop being inpatient for the pictures blink.gif

I am so so sorry to hear about what you are going through. Mine was totally that they applied the payment to someone else account but whatever the reason it will still cause angst in the midst of wedding planning.  Have you gone to the bridal shop to see what's happening?  Are you able to request contact information for the desinger?  Have you asked to speak to the Manager at the Bridal shop?

I would exhaust all possiblities to get an answer.  Hopefully you will have it by the 14th of this month which will still leave plenty of time for alternations if needed.

Out of my ordeal I received my dress cleaned and preserved free of charge and the money that it cost me for alterations.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
