I remember it was you who said "Coco,don't be drinking and planning"  Girl it was my better moments under the influence of Hennessey that I was sane, calm and pumped out some work.  When I was sober I made the deserts versus desserts mistake smile120.gif on the reception menus and was like "I be damned if I do those over" got out of bed and simply cut off the bottom and reshaped them LOL... Haha... I'm over here dying.  Those were the moments and I am so, so glad you and BDW where here to share those with.  Talk to you soon girly ;-)  How's Little Miss P and her shoe collection ;-)

Yes I do remember the many Hennessy filled nights, don't know how you do - I wouldn't be able to see straight, yet alone cut anything with precision (can't do that sober) but hell, maybe I would have gotten better, LOL.

 

Miss P and her shoe collection - I promise to line them all up this evening and send you a pic! Matter of fact I had to buy her 2 pairs of shoes the other day because she lost 1 while we were out at the outlets (yes I know she lost only 1, I didn't need to buy 2 BUT you know I rationalized it, LOL)

UPDATES, UPDATES

 

Etsy Vendor: FineHandMadeClothing.  Person Irene

Well my son's suit came in this week finally!  I say finally because we received notification that it was sent on the first but never received it.  Come to find out it was in the back of her car. So instead of getting here on the 7th it came on the 10th.  The quality is amazing but the fit in the butt and hips are a little snug. Irene is very nice and was willing to fix the suit, however we leave Tuesday morning so that wasn't possible, yet she still offered to fix it once we came back (umm defeats the purpose)

 

Anyway, I took the suit to our local dry cleaners whom we have a weekly relationship with.. and she's able to take it out in the areas needed but it's not likely that my son will fit the suit by the end of the summer.  Cost for all $196 for the suit and $19 for an alterations.  Recommendations look elsewhere! I'm sure that there are cheaper options out there that will last longer than a one time use.  Chances are I will try to sell the suit or donate it.

I LOVE it. You go girl this thread was the best that I have seen ( sorry ladies lol),  last nite I put together one bag to see how it looked.  It was missing something and now you have shown me new things that I can add.  Congrats and may your marriage be filled with love and happiness.

You are too kind.  I actually found, after tons of searching a picture of this.  Yup, a picture!  However; both FI and I like it so much that we will find someone to make it for us.

UPDATES UPDATES & not a good one!

 

Esty Vendor: SugarRobot

Item" Edible Butterflies that I was going to use as Escort Cards"

Stated production time: 3-5 business days

Item Purchased March 8th (prior communications had before purchasing)

Item "marked" for delivery March 28th (NEVER received)..tracking information was useless as I believe he/she never did them.

He/She advised that they would "re-do" them and have them to me by today April 14th (which I did receive)

 

PROS:  The item is gorgeous and they smell great. 

            Inexpensive

CONS: The vendors production time was not what was stated

            The vendor during our whole communication NEVER personalized the experience, so much so that I don't know if I was dealing with a man or woman

            The vendor noticed I was pissed and only then offered to "redo" them and have them expediated

            The vendor Flubbed BIG time:

               *Two names are misspelled

               *THERE ARE NO TABLE NUMBERS OR ANY OF THE DAMN BUTTERFLIES wtf.gif  how will anyone know what table they are supposed to be at.

           After checking my list of what was sent, I made no mistakes.  So I contacted the vendor at 12:30pm and have YET to receive a response.

 

So what's a girl to do?  Well, she did give 4 blank butterflies (really) so I will go to Michaels tomorrow to find a very nice pin to see how it would look if I wrote the table numbers on the butterflies.  If it's a go, then my review on Etsy will be a little less harsh. If not, I will BLAST HER/HIS ass.  Also if not, I will simply have these placed at the tables that each person will be sitting and unfortunately, will either send an email or a Facebook message to advise them of the table they are sitting at.  I know that my guest doesn't care, but I DO.

 

Recommendation.  If you deal with this vendor, I would highly suggest that you start 3 months before your date.  But truly, find someone else.

 

SO without further complaint (I'm so not done venting LOL) here are a few pictures.  Again gorgeous and fits with our theme but No TABLE numbers.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
