Thanks so much. I sent u an email with the music but I didn't see this until now. It was so simple but I cut the raffia in equal strips and made the loop using a folding chair for best height and than i tied a ribbon around the loop and made them all uniform. I brought my glue gun to mexico and I hot glued the starfish after I got there. i was figuring they would come apart anyway and I wanted to wrap the starfish in bubble wrap because they are so damn fragile lol. But yes I just hot glued them right to the middle where the ribbon was and they were so cute..one of my favorite projects. Good luck and have an amazing wedding. ;)

Your party looked like a blast! Great thread!

I am so glad that is why we do it. I couldn't find any all pink weddings except for Janine's and got a lot of ideas from hers. I never gave my husband an option but surprisingly he went with it lol. I love me some pink..obviously haha Good luck.

Thanks so much. Anything I can do to help just let me know ;). This was the simplest project and the most wow. Raffia is from nashville wraps and it was so easy to put together. Happy DIYing!!

If you are doing pinks I have so much light and dark ribbon and ink pads and stamps and pink paint and raffia and starfish and pink spraypaint that I sprayed the starfish with lol. I am going to try to catalog it all and see what I should get rid of. My husband wants the spare room/my junk room back lol.

The ones from Gartner that are sold at Michael's come either label stickers or perforated in alll shapes so that after you print on them with templates found on their website than you punch them out and attach to your project. http://www.gartnerstudios.com/shop/wedding-supplies

They were great. all shapes and some already have holes for attaching. or buy stickers and than attach to their gorgeous tags also sold in Michael's and don't forget to use the coupons I lived in there with all my coupons lol.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
