Pilar sent me this:

14.10 mts long, 15.00 mts wide

GetInline.aspx?messageid=99e616e2-c90f-1[/size]

We had 38 people in the bamboo room, and still plenty of room. We had 2 long tables at the front ( sat 10 of us including the wedding party), and 4 round tables with the rest of the guests . The tables sat from 6-10 people per table. We had 2 round tables on each side of room, and plenty of room to dance in the middle !! The rooms are much bigger than what the pics show. :)

Do you have any photos of your cake? I am trying to find a topper. Pilar told me the cake widths are 3.5 inches but most toppers are 5 inches....

That's one picture I haven't been able to find yet lol. We didn't do a cake topper, instead had the square cake with the flowers up the side to the top (from Divine package) . It was beautiful with that. We did choose the lemon and raspberry filling which was absolutely amazing!! Our guests still talk about how yummy the cake was. Also, there was enough for all our guests ( 38) and we didn't order more. It was a two or three tier cake.

Does anyone know how long the shuttle takes to get to the hotel? How many other stops do they make along the way? I have friend coming in day of wedding and I'm wondering if it would be better for her to get private transportation.

From my experience in Mexico in general that they just fill up the transfer buses the best they can with resorts around yours. I've always had to stop even when my resort filled most of the bus. I've never seen them stop 5 or 6 times but I think it's safe it will stop once. But maybe your resort will be the first stop. It's so hard to predict. What time does the flight land ? And what time is the wedding? That may give a better idea if private transpiration would be more safe.

Thanks for the feedback.  Her flight arrives at 10:15am and the wedding is at 5pm.  Maybe she'll be ok with the group transportation then.  I was just worried she might be annoyed if she spends a lot of time in the shuttle, but from what you are saying its likely not too bad.

For my wedding our resort was about 1 hour from the airport.  We landed at 2:30pm and I had budgeted to get there around 5:30pm. We were a bit earlier than that.  I think the NOW Jade is closer to Cancun then we were, so I think she should be fine for a 5pm wedding using the included transport.  That's like 6 hours -- unless her flight is delayed, but that is unforeseen. Good luck!

    Hi everyone,

Not really sure how this works,.... but I will give this a try. We are getting married at the now jade resort, and were wondering if anyone would recommend anything specific for the meals for the dinner?? It seems we can only chose one option for everyone.
