Anyone planning on hair extensions for the wedding?

 

Also, I don't have to take make up with me for my make up appointment do I? They'll have all that in the spa...

I'm bringing hair extensions and my own makeup too. I went to sephora to get a trial and bought everything there so I can fix it if they mess it up. I found the makeup reviews were hit or miss so I wanted a back up plan. I would bring your own coverup so that it matches well.

Candle23- how did you pay the remaining balance for dj discomovil ? Did you have to use travelers check? Did you tip him as well ? Didn't th ink we had to since we are paying him directly

We paid the remaining balance before we left just so that it was out of the way. We did not tip him as we paid him directly.

 

Also, we had 80 people attend and extended the reception two hours, and we paid a lot in included gratuities (in excess of $1000) so I did not tip anyone else after the fact. I know some of guests were tipping the bartenders, but I did not encourage them to, they did it on their own.

 

For hair and makeup, I would say if you can go without extensions that would be ideal...it is just so hot and humid that the added hair would have made me crazy! And for the makeup, they have quite a bit there, but if you would like a specific brand or colours than what they have then bring your own! They love dark makeup with a serious smokey eye! The only thing we did was touch up some blemishes that weren't covered well and lighten the smokey eye. I also did my own mascara since I had extensions on my lashes and I have a small eyelash obsession!

How many people can fit at a table?

We had 9-11 at each table. The ones with 11 were one or two kids though. But honestly, even with 10 adults at a table it did not look too cramped at all.

Yes round tables. A long head table at the front of the room for 10. And 7 round tables in a semi circle around the head table with 9-11 people at each

Silly question...are there washers and dryers for guests to use? We have 2 kids and are going for 2 weeks...on long trips I prefer to pack light and do laundry if possible....rather then 14 pairs of jean shorts lol

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners.
