I have been emailing with a girl from the Spa, forgot her name though. I booked my trials and all hair and make up appointments through her. As for the massage, yea, I think I am just going to wait until we get there... Pilar responded already. She told me the same thing, that rehearsal starts at 5:30 and the dinner at 6. Perfect. All planned. Just have to change the Welcome Letter and print it again.
Mind if I ask what you have planned for the rehearsal & dinner? Like are you getting people to meet near your ceremony location to run through everything? Is pilar planning on attending? And have you booked/are you paying for a special dinner or just going go he buffet? I wasn't going to plan a rehearsal dinner at all but thinking I should now... Hmmmm

we are having it at the buffet so it is free. And a rehearsal you should def have so everyone knows what to do :) pilar walks you through everything. Everyone involved in the wedding will meet at the pergola and talks who where and what and then you walk over to the carnival terrace for dinner.

Well that's simple :) I'll be adding that into my schedule. You say Pilar usually shows up for the rehearsal if I pick a date to do it with her? (Hopefully the night before the wedding)

YAY! Lauren, all the best to you and have fun! Come back with lots of pictures to share! Can't wait to see them!

Brandi, we are getting so close. Woohoo! I think it is finally hitting me that in two weeks I will wake up in Cancun just days away from my wedding. HOLY COW!

As for the rehearsal, I forgot who asked (sorry!) - yes, i heard Pilar will walk you through it. :) And I think you can do it whenever as long as the location allows... I guess I was really lucky that nobody is getting married at the Pergola at 5:30 the night before now that I think about it... :)

Hi there , I'm getting married today and the planners are on the balk so do not worry! The set up for the chairs is included for the ceremony but to move them to the reception is another 40 dollors. Also what we have just found out is that I you pay by credit card you have a handling fee plus a lower exchange rate than if you pay in cash so we just got stung for an extra £200 because no one told us this before hand. Try to pay as much in cash as possible. The food is the only difference. All are 4 courses but you can mix and match your menu. Hope this helps x

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
