Thank you!  This was very helpful.

For any of those Brides that have already had their wedding at Now Jade.....Was this a problem???? xx Yes it does smell around certain buildings. I haven't married there yet but I went to now jade in may for a site visit. We were first put in building 2 and it stunk around there like sewage. We complained before we even unpacked and were switched over to building 5 I believe, and it was fine. When I returned I contacted my travel agent and explained my concerns to her. Now jade responded to her and told her if I want all my guests in a specific building it'll be a 20$ charge per room! Lol I thought this was ridiculous but I guess there's nothing we can really do .

$20/per room if you request a certain building?!?! Surely that was a joke. No way...
Yep It's ridiculous! They have the sewage problem and for some reason can't fix it? I'm not really sure . The smell isn't like totally Unbearable but people are spending money To go enjoy themselves I don't want any issues . My question to the resort was how can i guarantee all my guests be on a specific building and not any of the ones around the smell. The response from the resort was : 3." WE CANNOT GUARANTEE SPECIAL ASSIGNMENT FOR THE ENTIRE GROUP, IN CASE THEY NEED THIS TREATMENT, THERE WOULD BE A SUPPLEMENT OF $20.00 USD PER ROOM PER NIGHT.

So...it smells but not bad enough to pay $20/per room?  Okay.  Besides building 1, were there any other buildings to avoid?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
