I'd like to ship a box ahead of time to the resort and I just want to verify what address to use.  This is what I found on the Now Jade website as the hotel's address:

Unidad 26 Mz. 20 Lote 1-1 SM.3

Puerto Morelos Benito Juárez

Quintana Roo, MÉXICO 77580

Is this address correct?  Did you put this to Pilar's attention?  Any other shipping advice anyone has would be appreciated.  Thanks!

I need help!! We have decided to do an "hasta la vista" party or "send-off" party at home 10 days before we leave for our Now Jade wedding! Do we send 2 invites?! It's so tough to know who will choose to celebrate with us in Mexico and who will come send us away in Colorado! do we send everyone 1 invite to both?!?! Or separate the events and send 2?

After we decided to do a destination wedding, I didn't regret our decision at all. However we've only got one week left for our guests to get in on our group booking and our numbers aren't nearly as high we were are hoping for (we invited 166 adults, and so far we only have 16 attending, including us. We thought we would be able to get at least 40). Our packages are all quite reasonably priced (<$1,500 from every departure city in Canada, even less in the US), but perhaps cost and proximity to Christmas is an issue. I don't even know if we'll have enough people to even do a group booking at this point. I just feel so badly right now, some people email me with odd excuses that I feel I can see right through. If cost/vacation time/work is the reason why they can't attend I just wish they would say that, rather than "my 6 month old may not be able to handle the heat" or something along those lines. I have semi-thick skin, but I do take it a bit personally, and it makes me question our decision to have a DW in the first place. I know we'll have our immediate family there, which is most important to me, but I'm still feeling badly about the others. I was planning on sending out formal invites to people in a few months. Do I even bother sending formal invites to people who have already said no to me?
My fiancé and I have gone back and forth between having our dream DW of settling for a hometown wedding for our families. We have finally decided to go with our hearts and marry at Now Jade! I too worry that we will have lots of excuses and now many guests but here's what we decided.... If he and I were the only ones there, would be still wanna get married there, the answer was YES!! If its exactly what YOU want, it won't matter of there is 16 people or 600 people!!! I know it's tough... We've been engaged almost 1.5 years and are just finally making the decision. ; )

I'm going to be a Now Jade bride also and I am soooo excited! My husband and I are actually already married but we didn't do a wedding and NO FAMILY was there when we eloped at the courthouse. He promised me that on our 5 year anniversary we would have my dream wedding so that day will be here in 20 short months. (LOL!!! it's not really short but it sounds better in my mind).

I am in the beginning pages of the planning as our date is going to be April 25,  2015 which is the exact date we married in 2010. I have really enjoyed reading this forum and going hearing about everyone's plans and journey. The reviews have been short of amazing at answering questions that I would otherwise be waiting forever to get answered. Since I have such quite a while before my big day I will continue to enjoy everyone's experience and post about my planning until my big day comes.

Hi Ladies,

It's me again. So I was looking over the different packages and we were thinking of going with the Devine package and substituting the things we don't want or need. Based on reviews I saw a lot of brides do this and it didn't seem to be a problem, however I know things can change. My question is for those who have used the Devine Package it says it comes with a silver menu cocktail hour and dinner reception AND a platinum menu cocktail hour and dinner reception. Is this correct? This is really important to me because I really want to do a welcome party for my guest and was planning on using the cocktail hour/reception for the welcome party. Can any of you wonderful ladies who have had your weddings here already or planning to answer this question.

Many thanks!

Brenda

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
